The arrived soon enough, one of the men helping her off the horse. The guards would go in with her, one on each side of the door. The rest of the men surrounding the building from the outside.

She tried not to notice the presence of all the guards as she entered the building with a smile.

The baker greeted her with a smile. "Ah! the princess Xolia! An honor to have you at my bakery again. Mino not with you? A shame. I was told he was coming and had his favorite. He did tell me to have profiteroles as well, I suppose that is for you, no?"

It may have shocked her that he addressed the crown prince as 'mino', but this man was like a second father to the prince.

She didn't mind the nickname he used for the prince. She did still have people call her 'Lia', after all.

" I believe they are. Maybe next time I visit it will be with the prince. But thank you anyway. "

The baker nodded, bringing out a small plate of her profiteroles. He had a few other dishes prepared should he find any other treat to suite her.

"Here my lady," he said with a smile, placing the profiteroles in front of her."

She gave a thankful smile to the baker before beginning to eat her meal of sweets.

The baker left to stand behind the counter, waiting for her to call him. He was proudly at her service...


...Meanwhile the prince was preparing....for a wedding the next day

Well she was completely fine with the sweets he had already laid out before her.

The baker smiled cheerily as he watched he eat his home made foods. He loved to know that his pastries were appreciates them.

She absolutely loved them.

(like he's avoiding? her so how is that even supposed to go? after all it would be quite embarrassing for her if he just up and left xD)
