As you go upstairs, you can hear Ed and Shiera laughing along and playing but the noises are cut off as you reach your room. After packing, you head downstairs to find the boy from before playing with Ripple instead of the little pup.

Ripple tilted her head and instead climbed on the boy, looking back to you expectantly. Ed and Shiera were silent but exchanged an all-too-knowing look with each other.

The boy laughed, "Yes, but my real name is Balfour. The wolf you saw me leave with before was my older sister. She was fetching me after I changed and got lost. This time I just wanted to come say hi again and see what the commotion was with the horses. I saw the foal, super cute, what's its name?" Clearly, this young boy liked to talk, and Ripple seemed to really like him as she climbed all over him!

I go to the shore closest to me and go arround to the shore closest to Barrett and jump as far as I can to grab him and free him.

The cub watches you with big eyes as you approach. It lets you pet it, it seems like the mother is nowhere to be found.
