"I am scared........" Shadow admitted. She looked down. "I don't want to be killed........ I don't want to die." Shadow said.

Orinight-
"Now what's all this nonsense about? As long as your with me I won't let anything happen to you alright? No one will be hunting you." He said licking her ears again.

"I don't want to go outside........" Shadow said. She was to scared to go back outside. She didn't want to risk it.

Theon knew what that was like too... to have someone who you thought loved you just... walk away. That was a different feeling all together, though no more pleasant.

All of this got Theon thinking about his own mother. The same questions he had always had entered his mind. Who was she? What was she like? Did she love him? His father had never told him, not that he avoided the topic. It was more that he himself didn't know. That was somthing they had never discussed but that they had always had a silent understanding of. He was adopted, but it didn't matter.

Then Theon heard the purring again and turned his head sharply towards the sound. "If those aren't your cats, then you've got a few squatters up there."

Orinight-
"Shh, I'm here now." He said in a soothing voice as he rubbed his face on hers. "You don't have to go if you don't want. I can provide for the both of us."

Shadow smiled and she laid down. She yawned and nodded. She closed her eyes tired.

Ase~
The same kind smile covered her face. "I'll let them stay, what harm can they be to is really? And if they become a threat then those two can handle it." She said meaning the morkkos. She sighed shortly and looked about. "You know in truth you are the first I have really talked to in well over a year. I never knew how lonely it could be down here."

Orinight-
She seemed to always be thinking of sleep, maybe there was something a bit wrong. Well in truth if she wished to stay in the den what better time for her to have kits? But that was him. He came from a breeding farm of elite hunters all his mind could think about was passing on genes and hunting though something else was there in the middle, a caring heart of gold. In his society the only time females stayed bed down like this was if they were kit bound. Possibly she already was?

Shadow opened her eyes slightly scanning his face. She smiled and closed her eyes. She sighed.

Theon chuckled a little. "We're in the same boat then, except I haven't had the luxury of being able to stay in one place for more than a month for the past four years. Though granted I've only been traveling alone for about sixteen months now."
He said this casually, as if every day since Sen had left hadn't been absolute agony.
