Keezheekoni relaxed some. "You think I'm close to those palefaces, your dead wrong." she answered with a bit of a growl. She hesitantly took his hand, letting him help her up. She grinned. "That you know of..." she whispered to him, looking away with a bit of embarrassment. She hadn't let go of his hand as she stood there, looking around below before looking back at him.

"Well practice is a good way, we'll figure it out as we go." Pepper said smiling a bit as she looked up at July "but right now you might need some rest, I think everyone does." Pepper said looking around then returning her gaze to July.

"Finally" Alaska neighed happily as she walked over to a patch of grass. She began eating the shoots happily. As she swished her tail a little to get rid of a few flies.

He didn't take his hand away from hers either. "I don't think that..." He said looking at her. "If anyone is a pale face it would be me, since in not a true Native." He admitted. Looking away he sighed, taking his hand from hers and turning his back to her. "I've never told anyone else that before."

"Yeah your right." July sighed wrapping his arms around her. "I'll take first watch." He said walking away and climbing onto Camel's back. "Come on boy lets go." He said tapping him lightly with the metal arm.

Pepper watched July go cant beleive that finally happened she thought smiling a little. She walked over to where Alaska was eating and took a sleeping bag out of the saddle bag. She laid it down on the floor then used the saddle bag like a pillow. She looked up at the darkening sky and sighed happily i just hope I don't screw anything up. she thought as she slowly drifted off to sleep

She came back exhausted but triumphant as she held five rabbits. She muttered a quick, "Hello," to July as she passed. She quickly started a fire and started to cook.

The crackling of a fire jolted Pepper awake. "Food?" She asked in a slurred voice as she looked around. Pepper spotted the fire and sat up rubbing the sleep out of her eyes "need help?" She asked as she crawled out of her sleeping bag

"Sure," she said. She finished cooking the second rabbit.

Pepper got a tin plate from her saddle bag and held it out." You can put the cooked ones on this." She said holding it out for Mia to use.

Julyclombed off of Camel and sat next to the fire. "I guess I could eat first." He smiled. "Smells delicious."
