Nicote tested him o folow to the back of the shop, where there was a garage. The car was inside and Ken was tinkering around in the hood part.

Sean followed closely,tho giving him personal space,and saw the car. "Being honest the car's a real nice one,sure a b-bit damaged,b-but not to bad."

"Just needs some tuneups." Ken agreed. "~}\~ I'm working on, but which Nicote should be doing since hes the engineering expert."

"Andwhich I'm not because I'm not supposed to be bending over like that and If i do I'll probably fall into the car itself." Nicote retorted.

Sean smiled slightly,knowing it would be difficult if Nicote tried to work on it in the wheel chair. "A-and I can help w-with them if i n-need to."

Ken turned to Nicote fully. "Why haven't you scouted out this guy before? Or rather, why hasn't Mateo cheked him out? I thought he was supposed to know everything about everyone."

Nicote ignored the boy. "Go ahead, Sean. I'll be n the cornor if you two need me. Which I highly doubt." He rolled off to the cornor, where amessy desk was.

Sean was a little confused on what Ken meant by 'scout out',so he gave Nicote a small nod and came over besides Ken. "W-what do you mean by Scout out?" He asked.

KEn looked surprised. "Oh you didn't know? So, Nicote's stepbrother owns the hardware store, and we get paid for any work we do. Mateo's in charge of finding people who can do the job-we look like a lot bu most of us are only part-time and usually only really know how to deal with stuff in one or two things. We only have one engineering specialist-that's NIcote, by the way."

"oh..I see." He said,listening closely.

"Yeup! Im guessing NIcote took the liberty of brining you in since Mateo didn't..." Ken shrugged. "He usually doesn't invite people to the shop."

He nodded,smiling. "Sorta,he just let me hang in that back room of sorts and...well...I'm not sure...exactly how I got fully involved." He felt really dumb,blushing golden slightly in embarrassment.
