The fake Shadow skated up to Pearl, preparing a Chaos Spear...
A tremor shook the ground, one that was familiar to Knuckles. Too familiar. He growled at Infinite and glanced at the Master Emerald... It was still there, perfectly fine. "What's wrong?!" He shouted to the Emerald. "Don't let us fall!"
Sonic looked at the echidna. "Fall?! As in, the island?! But the Emerald's still there!"
"What do you mean, he's back?!" Rookie shouted. "Who is this?!"

Knuckles finished off the Metal Sonic and dashed over to the Emerald, looking it up and down. "What's the matter?"
Sonic dealt the finishing blow to Chaos. "Do something Knuckles!"

Infinite looked satisfied with himself.
Rookie changes the frequency. "Hello? Respond!"

The spear went through and finished Illusoin Shadow before he got to Pearl
Shadow turned to Infinite "What did you do?"
Pearl aimed her blaster at infinite ready to fire
