I figure there is probably a family of foxes down there so I back farther away giving them a wide berth.

I pick up my stick and try to poke it down a couple more holes. This time however I also check the hole entrances to see if i can recognize the animal prints to know whether it's a rabbit that lives here or something else.

I stay away from those holes. and continue looking for ones with prints. also I drink some water and eat some food.

I carefully take out the carrot and place it just outside the whole.
