After a few minutes, Coastal came flying back, disappointed. "I lost him..." She said. "But oh well, if he really cares, I'm sure he'll return" She said. "So, anyways, where are we headed to now?" She asked the group.

"Excuse me," Obsidian piped up. "Have I seen some of you before?"

Ibis spit out a flower that had landed in her mouth. "What are these even for?" she asked. She was too shy to ask before, but now that several dragons had done it...

"You seemed upset, so we decided to try to cheer you up," Blizzard explained, bouncing from one foot to the other. "Did it work?"
Darkness stared at the rippling ocean. It looked so clear, so pure, and so deep at the same time. She briefly considered shifting to one of her SeaWing forms, but decided otherwise. She could explore later.

(Have we went to the MudWing kingdom yet? I don't remember...)

(Not quite, we're going there soon, I hope)

Coastal paced around impatiently. "So, aren't we going to the Mudwing kingdom? Or maybe we could find our own place to find the cure for the Flashing, like maybe jade mountain" Coastal said.

(Whoops, I've been rping in the Mud kingdom)

"Thank you! That's very nice for a dragon you've just met!"

"As long as it's not the IronWing kingdom," Obsidian added. He knew that they had not accepted the, into the group, but he was going to follow them anyways. They seemed to know things. "Wait a minute... did you say the Flashing?"

"Hey, I saw you in my dream!" Ibis exclaimed.

Ink tried to push down a prick of jealousy that had surfaced. Yet another "special prophecy dragonet" for Ibis to hang out with instead of him. The rational part of his brain told himself that wasn't the case, but there was another part wishing that things could go back to when his sister and him were best friends... wait a minute. Ibis was not his sister. He shook his head as if to clear it.

"I second that notion" Mercury added in. "I may not love the mud kingdom, but I don't want to return to the Ironwing kingdom" Mercury said. "The underground is so dull, this place is so colorful and pretty" Mercury said, looking at the world around her, stepping up beside Obsidian.

Obsidian looked startled. "What dream?" he asked, before turning to Mercury, glad to have an excuse to not go back to the kingdom he was hunted in. "Yeah, totally boring. I want to see someplace new." He still couldn't shake the feeling that some of the dragons looked familiar... He was distracted by one of his stone figures that was trying to escape the bag he kept them in that was currently strung across his back. Taking a closer look, he realized it was the RainWing. Hey, it was familiar! It looked exactly like one of the RainWings in the group- the one always rambling about dreams. He quickly pulled out the others and compared them to the dragons in the group. Although some dragons did not resemble any of the figures, and no one matched the Sea, Night, Ice, or Mud one, he could definitely sense a connection. It had to mean something! One of the figurines was holding a scrap of paper that had come from the bag. He had felt it in there but had ignored it- he didn't know how to read!

"Hey, what do you have there?" Mercury asked, looking into his bag with the figurines. She spotted a scrap of paper. "Is there something on that paper? What's written on it?" Mercury asked, she couldn't help being so nosy, this was the first time in a while she really had the chance to socialize with an Ironwing who tolerated her presence.

"Oh, you know, random boring nonsense. Washing instructions," he lied, not wishing to reveal the gap in his education. He put the piece of paper and the figurines back in the bag.

"Do you think he's one of us?" Ibis asked.

So there's an "us" now, Ink thought.

"Can I read it? What would you need to wash?" Mercury asked, reaching for the paper.

"I want to know what it says too, Mercury, can you read it to me? I never really learned how to read" Coastal admitted. Mercury nodded. "There's a lot of dragons I know that can't read, I'll teach you if I get the chance" Mercury told Coastal.
