"I don't think so. I mean, they don't really look related at all. The orange one's the only one with branches and I'm pretty sure that sorta thing would be genetic." She thinks for a long moment. "I think he spoke to mom once."


That would be highly unusual, considering seahorses all act as if they're mute. They're blatantly not, but they always have refused to say a single word to anyone who's not a seahorse, as far as she's aware.

"Interesting. I wonder why they come over this way then. The place is practically a wasteland because of the crab." Nethimir looked back out, thinking about what three random Seahorses would be doing here.

"I dunno. I think mom asked him when he came over to speak to her. I don't think he really explained though."

"Weird. Whatever, none of my business." Nethimir slid back over to the wall, resting her back against it.

"I swear he mentioned his name. Can't remember it for the life of me." She continues on, apparently ignoring Neth's disinterest. "Dunno the other two's either. They weren't with the group he was with when he talked to mom."

"So, do Seahorses have connections with Remora or something? Because that's what it sounds like." Nethimir rolled her eyes, giving Nila her usual glare.

"No. I don't think so, anyways. Mom only spoke with him, and he didn't really say much to her. Acted like every single word was some sort of massive inconvenience, if I'm remembering right." She frowns, thinking. "I swear, his name had something to do with like, the tides, or whirlpools, or something like that. I know he told her it, so I know I know it."

"I don't know how you haven't taken the hint yet, but I honestly don't care about his name." Nethimir replied, her voice had a slight ring of annoyance to it.

"I think it started with like, 'Spin', or 'Swirl', or something." She muses, obviously ignoring Neth's attempts to change the topic to something moderately interesting.

Nethimir sighed, sliding down on the wall into a sitting position, and giving up on trying to change the subject.
