Tobias Parson-Kathrine

Tobias's attention snapped to the Chi'oo'ri, wondering why she wanted to talk to him. He didn't really care, he just didn't expect anyone to want to talk to him. And then Tobias let out a stifled laugh, leaning forward, obviously a little delirious. "Yeah, I'm tired, I was just on a long, terrible trip up from Earth.", He grumbled when he calmed down a bit. "I just need coffee or something and I'll be as fresh as a daisy."

"Anyway, call me TPK, literally everyone calls me that.", Tobias said, grumbling a bit less. He found it a little annoying that these new coworkers were tiptoeing around him like he was a feral animal, but he wouldn't say anything.

He yawned again, settling back against the wall, waiting for the ship tour to start- and then maybe he'd finally get coffee. "I'll go with anything as long as I get coffee.", Tobias mumbled, crossing his arms and sinking into his jacket.

*Coffee, of course* Riri smiled, completely oblivious to what coffee was or what fresh as a daisy meant, but she assumed those were good things. *But yes, TPK, I understand what you mean about exhaustion due to space travel a lot of people compare deep oceans to space, however I can assure you they are nothing alike, leaving the depths of Kc*Aaea*ooo*cht to go to the opposite ends of the galaxy was quite the exhausting trip*

Riri had always loved to tell stories of her home, partially just for the way she could pronounce her homelands names. Chi oo ri had two sets of vocal muscles, one for longer vowel syllables and the other for harsher syllables, so their speech was particularly unique and their accents tended to sound almost like two people overlapping their words.

Tobias Parson-Kathrine - TPK

Tobias laughed again, much quieter this time. "Not what I meant, but okay.", He hummed. "The trip I could afford was cramped inside of a cargo transport with ten other people and a fussy toddler." He hopped that could explain the torture he went through after he missed his daily dose of caffeine, and/or his breakfast.

"And despite living in Los Angeles my whole life, I've only seen the ocean once.", He pointed out, seriously having no idea what it was like to be in deep water. "My mother and I didn't get to go out much." Tobias's family was pretty poor when he was growing up, and it didn't help that he couldn't help pay the bills for most of his time with his mother. At least the government would be giving her extra each month because her only child would be out exploring the galaxy or whatever. The only stories that he had were the stupid things he did with his friends when he was in high school. (Let's just say he's been arrested at least once. And his mother let him stay the night in a cell.)

Dalek Aablisc (Dale)

After realising that their attempt to seem more friendly had ... non-desired effect on some of their crewmembers, Dalek felt a bit bad and stoped the unnatural display. Their speacies didnt realy used their facial features this way at all, using plating display and body language instead so, it felt a bit like trying (and possibly failing) to use a forern language for the first time.

" Well, with that out of the way, please follow me !"

The first stop was the room Dale just came out off a moment ago, a small office space with two desk that had been partialy filled by stacks of forms. " Appology for the mess, it's impossible to keep clean ... this is the office room, in here you will find all the forms necessary for explorations and external interactions that may be neaded. I tend to be the main user of this room and, unless things go realy badly, sending me a writen notice using the internal system will be more then enough, unless you plan to, eeh, stample the fauna somwhere... any questions... ?"


Dricyriz Cihevle (Drik)

His entenas flattened in alarm at TPK's mention of coffe tho he still had to research the componant to confirm that this was not an infortunately named drink. The list of incredient that apeared on his holo-screen did nothing to ease his wories, this may not have been exactly what he was expecting but it was still containing at least one incredient classified as potentialy toxic. He knew he had to dive deeper into human biology a bit later but, trying to prevent health emergencie he integrated the discution as professionaly as possible. " Hi! I am Dricyriz Cihevle, also refered as Drik for short ! I am the medic on board and as sutch it is my duty to warn you of the potential toxicity of the brevage that you were seaking. If you nead any assistence please come and see me for a consultation afterward."

i follow behind drik obediantly, casting a glance to make sure i'm near enough to Lo. you never know when your biologist might be put in danger. they have a tendancy to get into dangerous situations all the time.

the humans are in front of us, so i take the time to study them. they're odd but in a cool, fascinating way. i spend all my time around biologists and other protecters, so i'm kind of a "nerd" as the humans would put it. i don't understand what that means.

At the que, Tobias began to follow Dalek. He shoved his hands in his pockets awkwardly, not really knowing what else to do but quietly watch.

Tobias looked at Dricyriz blankly, this was old news to him. "I know, and I frankly don't care, and neither does most everybody in the human race.", He informed him. After a moment, he cracked a toothless smile. "We've kind of built up an immunity for its toxins, you don't have to worry about me."

"Also, I'm Tobias Parson-Kathrine, but I only respond to TPK.", He said. "I might just humor you on that consultation too." But that was only if he could find an energy drink or something.

(Ten seconds later Tobias passes out.)


Iomina Nomori - Io
(Hey uh, @Stringworms, you kind of controlled my character. I didn't want her to follow Dale around because she didn't need to be shown the ship again.)

Iomina decided to go back to her lab, having taken enough notes from the side lines, she just needed to organise them now. Sure she was still giddy, she just wanted to be more professional right now. And it would be weird if the biologist was more interested in an already studied species like they were caged creatures.
"You can follow Dale around if you need to, Astra, I don't need any assistance.", The Hamalori said, flaring her ears kindly. "I just have files to organise, that's all."

(oh so sorry ^^;, if you want we can just say her lab is in the direction they're going or something)



i glance between Lo and the humans. well, she said she didn't need any help...and i really want to follow the humans... it wouldn't hurt, would it? i mean, what could happen in the short time it takes to go through the ship? i'm sure Lo will be totally fine while i'm gone. besides, i like humans.

Iomina Nomori - Io

Iomina gave her a thumbs up. "Remember, I am not a piece of Lorex glass.", She said, referring to the breakable substance her people harvested from the bone marrow of massive creatures known as Lorex to make beautiful jewelry and charms. "And, don't stare too much, it might look like a challenge to a fight for them."

With that, she skipped down the hall to her lab. She opened the door, revealing a room with hanging red, blue, and yellow charms. The beads laced onto her horns and neck matched these, glimmering faintly in the florescent lights- contrasting from the fur and teeth sewn into patterns, attached to Houli wood. The Hamalori sat down at her desk and plugged her datapad into a larger system.

blushing bright purple, i scurry after the group, casting a guilty look over my shoulder. whoops. heeding her advice, i make sure not to make too much eye contact with them, but do flash my teeth a few times like the captain did. that's supposed to be friendly, right?

The lack of reaction to their well reherced protocol had them shifting in uncertainty before they clear their voice. " Well, let's continu then..."

They leaded the humans down the corridor witch leaded to the living quarters. " The rooms from this part of the ship are, for the most part personal space and belong to each crew members." Indicating the small screen on the nearest door they continued. " The name of who presently own the room will be display on the doors, those who dosnt have any names are free to clame. Neadless to say entering someone else's room is forbiden".

His entenas curled slightly as he processed the information, a speacie that didnt cared about drinking literal poison until they build a tolerence to it ?! What was the point of that, was it to shield themself from somthing worst ? To test their warrior caste ? Wait, was bearing their fangs a symbol of somthing ? Nevermind actualy, he'll ssk that one later. He had head that some speacies used this type of technic a a way to enhence their colorations, was it the case here too? Neadless to say, TPK's answer only fuelled the fire of his curiosity so when the human said that they may come for a consultation he was very happy, enough for his wing speed to increass to an audible level of noise." Oh ! That's great ! If what you said is true, and i dont doubt it just nead confirmation of tolerence from the computer, i'll see of a way to add coffe or somthing similar to what can be synthetised or otherwhise made on board."
