Nellie

"Oh hello Asuriel, nice guide! Oh Jack! Stay away from the dewberry bush. While they are edible, it's very thorny. I'll harvest those!" Nellie smiled to Jack.

Asuriel hurries over and helps him pick up the leaves. "Dandelion, nice!" She pulls a pouch out of her pack and hands it to Jack, helping him pour the leaves into it to make them easier to carry. "Grab the flowers too though, they can be used too." She headed off, flipping through the guide book and checking each plant as she went.

Jack backs up from the bush at Nellie's comment and thanked Asuriel when she hands him the pouch to help carry them. He felt a little bad about the fact that he was hurting the plants, taking the leaves needed for photosynthesis and the pretty flowers but glad he was going to have something to eat.

Nellie

As Nellie picked the Dewberries, she saw Jack slightly saddened face and instantly knew why. "Don't worry Jack, the flowers are still there and the leaves grow back really quickly. Besides, we need to eat too."

Nellie

Looking at her bag of dewberries, she was satisfied and headed over to a comfrey plant and ripped out some of its roots, not enough to kill the plant though. Comfrey was her favorite stewed.

After Asuriel had gathered some more of the dandelions in the area, making sure to get leves flowers and roots, she started to check for any berries or other useful plants. She spotted a patch of amaranth and gathered it up.

Nellie

"Ok everyone, that should be enough to make a fine stew. Let's go!" Nellie smiled, looking at the haul they got.

(Lol, that's smart. Me? I'm just using whatever knowledge I have on top of my head that I am pretty sure is true... Periwinkle is a good flower I think. xD I'd die quickly because I wouldn't know what to or what not to eat.)

Jack brightens at the information Nellie had given him earlier and bounces around like a little bee, gathering no more than what was needed. After he had harvested all that he could carry, he gently thanked the plants and gave what he gathered to Nellie.

Nellie

She ran to the cave, making sure Jack and Asuriel were behind her. She walked in and gave Jazzy a 'we're back' smile.

Asurial nodded and brought the stuff she gathered back to camp. "I'm going to got out and set some traps later" she said. "we might be able to catch a rabbit or squirrel or something" She handed the plants she gathered to Seren. "Don't forget to boil the amaranth" she said.
