I breath in deeply, i'd been mostly living off of foraged goods and the occasional caught rabbit, a good cookie sounded like heaven right now.

I'll pick up the pace a bit.

You end up at the open gates of a small town, carts and wagons are stopped while people unload goods from them. You see the two ladies unloading bundles of herbs into a large box.
There is a market on your left, down the dirt road a little bit. You don't have any money though.

ah. That would be a problem. I decide to explore a bit, maybe at the very least I can get some inspiration for my compass, or find a relativly sheltered spot to kip for the night.

You wander into a neighborhood with soft orange glows coming from the windows. Further down you see a small store for metal and metal works.

I'll make my way there eagerly, mind already whirling with all the things i could make if i had access to this kind of equipment

I sigh mildly disappointed but decide to head for the inn, maybe I could work to earna room, at least for tonight.

You walk into the inn, it's cozy but you can tell it's old and not very busy. After a few moments a little girl comes from the door behind the desk. "Oh hi! Do you need a room?"

I smile and clear my throat a little, "uh yes, I do. I do not have anything to pay with though, i'm afraid." and nervously picking at the bandages quickly add "I'd uh be happy to work for a room though, i-if thats alright"
