Newt just listened, kidding. He wasnt against light elves, they were on rather good terms with them (and also his brother and one of the light elves theyd met once had gotten quite interested in each other....) but he wasnt really excited when it came to looks. His eyes trailed he various books, mar eking. Being form a watery kingdom meant that either books were handled with great care or written inw ays that coudlnt be ruined with water.

Amelia smiled as she watched him curious about him as aperson and as a species because Amelia didn't know anything about out the album water kingdom or about out the water elves in fact when she first heard about them she believed that they were more like Sirens but had two legs and gills and lived in water but after seeing them realised that she was complately wrong but it wasn't her fault really she was born and raised as a servant in the Earth Kingdom never adventuring outside the Kingdom and had poor schooling.

Amelia wounded what would happen after the wedding would newt relocate to the Earth Kingdom and rule it alongside Eilonwy or would princess eilonwy relocate to the water Kingdom and become its queen. The young human moved closer and picked up one of her favorite horrorand romance stories about a obsessed and crazy guy (yandere) who fell in love with an ordinary woman she luked it as it was dark but intrested and made you think " may I ask what stories you read your Highness?" She asked

"Text on plants above the water. Hard to find this stuff down there in the oceans. The colors are so bright up here, I'm really surprised Nicote hasn't done any of his weird experimentations with any of the local plants....then again I suppose it wouldn't be proper of him to suddenly appear at random times in the kitchens here as a guest." Newt shrugged. "I expect he'll be in an even worse mood then usual once he realizes that I'm not going to be around full time with the wedding and all, he's already annoyed from almost getting kicked out of the lineage....' He then noticed the book Amelia had. "You like romance?" He suddenly looked interested.

Amelia hearing this walked over to a distant shelf and picked up a thick book about extreamly rare lamd blased olants and walked over and placed it on a table "i heard this is a good one for plants and im not really a fan of romance sometimes they can be a little to cheesey or overly romantic that it becomes unrealistic i like horror and fantasy" she said and smiled at him "but your betrothed loves romance stories" she said softly and picked up the princess favorite called The goldren princess a love story more romantic than the notebook and placed it beside the plant book "maybe you could give them a read your highness" she said and sat on the window ledge glazing at the sky

"I am more of a light romance person but thank you very much." newt said. He of course went riht for the plants book.

And once he started reading, he was 110% absorbed into reading.

Ameila glaced over at newt and smiled to herself as she watched him read the book he was so endorsed in he looked rather handsome when he read it made her feel feelings she never felt before and it worried her as the love between a human and a elf was forbidden and as newt was a royal it was even more forbidden but people aleays say the forbidden fruit often tastes the sweetest . Ameila stood up grabbing a few books she believed newt would like based on what he told her "would you like anything your highness?" She asked

Mewt absently mumbled soemthign about "pineapples" and turned a page. He wasnt going to be interupted by soemthign soon if he cojld aboid it even if he wanted to be disturbed, his brian didnt allow for that.

Amelia looked a little confused by his words but noun the less she quietly left the library leaving newt alone in the library and than Amelia came back holding a pineapple in her hands with a carving knife and plates and culturally and placed the pineapple and items down and smiled at him and curtsed "I brought one your highness" she said

newt glanced up breifly and then registered the pineapple. He imemdiatley sat yp propwrly. "Um...wait, di i aks for one?" He aksed. "Actu alky never midn i probably did dint i?" He glanxed aorund the livrary. "I...probably shouldnt be eating int he libradry either." He chuckled. "Do you midn carrying the pineapple to my room?" He grabbed his books.

Amelia gave him a soft and somewhat shy smile "yes your highness" she said as she gave another curtsed her choclate brown hair falling over her face "I deliver it right away so please enjoy your time in the library" she said and stood up and picked up the pineapple and culturally in her arms and smiled at the handsome elven Prince and turned around making her way to his bedroom and two strange creatures followed her one looked somewhat creepy with no fur and crimson red eyes while the second looked like a fox creature with blue eyes and cream fur
