"Sure, come on in," She said nervously a twitch of her ear the only thing betraying her fear, "Have a look around, it is better to be safe then sorry," She moved out of the guards way, her tail swishing anxiously.
Tyka saw everything and ducked inside a cabinet, her tail curling around her shaking paws. She didn't know why she had to hide, maybe it had something to do with lion, whatever that was.

The letter guy gave a soft smile and a thankful nod, trying to be reassuring. "I doubt we will find anything, ma'am. I am not worried."

The hat guy sorta just briskly walked in, he wasn't so sure that there wasn't just a random rumore being passed around that meant nothing. "Shut it, just get looking. Don't break anything, ya' clutz." He said to letter guy, and Letter guy nodded. "O-okay. Alrighty." They carefully spanned out a bit, they didn't ransack but they didn't avoid most messes. Well, Hat guy didn't care to much. Letter guy tried to politely lift things and look inside. Mostly gently looking around the living room.

Tyka stayed as quiet as a mouse, keeping as still as possible to avoid making noise. She waited, hearing them look around, kinda gently? She couldn't tell. She held her breathe, only to sneeze when some dust tickled her nose.

Hat guy heard her and started toward the kitchen with long strides.

Letter guy looked to the mother. "Ma'am, do you live alone?"

Hat guy started searching through cobarts and things, not taking much care if he slammed the little doors or not. He looked up and down, listening for anything else.

"I... have a daughter," She said truthfully her tail lashing in panic, her whiskers twitching nervously.
Tyka was hiding still, trying to cover her nose to stop herself from sneezing again when she fell forward, out of the cabinet, right in front of the hat guy. Lay there dazed for a moment, not realizing the danger she was in.

Hat guy looked down at her and then picked her up, literally picked her up with out any care or effort. "And who are you?" He asked Tyka, eyes narrowed from under the shadow of his hat.

Letter guy nodded. "I'm sorry I did not ask earlier, but we must know what we can about your living accommodations. This rumor has been circling and it is very worrisome and mandatory that we figure its truthfulness out.

"Ty-yka," She stuttered covering her eyes with her paws, trembling with fear as she curled into a ball, her lion like tail drooping down to almost touch the floor.
"I know that guard, I have lived here my whole life," Tyka's mother said looking to the kitchen nervously.

Hat guy huffed, slinging Tyka over his shoulder and walking back over to Letter guy. "Alright, rumores true. Lookie here." he said, then held Tyka up in front of Letter guy.

"Oh dear. Ma'am, we're going to have to take her and put you under arrest for harboring a lion cub."
Letter guys sighed, giving an apologetic look to the mother.

"Tyka, I told you to hide," The mother sighed, "I promise you she does no harm staying here, please just let her at least go. You know they'll kill her," She said desperately, as she loved this cub like it was one of her own kittens.

Hat guy slung Tyka back over his shoulder. "And how do we know she wont go savage all of a sudden?" He growled.

Letter guy sighed. "We know they will." He said, ignoring his comrade. "The thing is, we can't have a preditore youth romping around, there is a risk she will eat others. It's in her DNA, she's a killer."
