Okay, so if I'm understanding it right, it's just like some magical force. Makes sense.

So plotwise if I was doing anything with that, maybe your characters would be refugees from their planet seeking people to help them restore it or something?

Don't want to sound rude or anything, but I'm not trying to use the direct plot of your novel or anything. Sorry if there was a misunderstanding.
Wouldn't work at all with my characters. Like the whole darkness consuming the world thing is a pretty common fantasy plot but I find it doesn't translate well anywhere outside of it.
