He jumped,shocked,but his red eyes seemed to darken and his expression changed to his edgy persona.But it wasn't himself...it was something he'd learned to use as a shield as to not get hurt again.He never wanted to feel pain again after losing his family. He put his arms up slightly,as if ready to swing and his feet parted as he turned to face her,his stance ready and acid starting to make slight steam come up from his jaws as they parted slightly with a hiss from the acid's heat.

She stared at him for a moment. " Sorry for scaring you! " She let go of the branch, gently floating to the ground. But she hovered a couple inches above ground. Eliza seemed oblivious to the fact that the stance he was taking was a battle stance, and the stuff coming out his mouth was acid. She smiled at him, friendly as ever. " I'm Eliza! "

He took a step back,eyeing her,but not in much a different way than he did everyone else.He saw her hovering,and he lessened the acid in his mouth so it didn't boil to much to a spilling bubble.He didn't swallow it,so he didn't speak.

She tilted her head a bit, staring at the acid. " What's that stuff in your mouth? " She asked, excitedly while floating up a bit.

He snapped his jaws shut and swallowed the liquid,the sting running down his throat but not even making him flinch as he spoke. "Acid...it's acid." he said,his fangs glinting as he spoke and he brought one of his hands up and gruffly pushed some black hair from his red eyes.

Her sapphire eyes sparkled. " Really?!? That's so cool! How does it work? " She asked, then paused. " Am I asking too many questions? "

He seemed a bit stiff,shocked by her excitement,and gave a small shake of his head,tho he seemed a bit cautious. "No...but....I just pull my tung...back and..." He trailed off a bit,not having explained it for years,then he just showed her. He let his jaws open and he pulled his tung back and it seemed to trigger something underneath and from the area under his tung began to boil acid,dark colored stuff that hissed as it's amount increased slowly.

She began floating even higher. " That is so cool! " She said, turning upside down and flailing excitedly in the air. " I wish I could do something like that! "

Now he really was freaked out and he took a few steps back,his body tensing all the more. He pulled his hood on,not so sure about her excitement having not been exposed to some for years,and he swallowed the acid again. "I guess...." He said softly,his voice a bit deeper as he tried to use a softer tone. It didn't work.

She turned right side up. " Did I scare you? " She asks, floating a bit close to him as he backs up. " Im sorry!!!! " She said, beginning to quickly backup.
