Ilona frowned. She slid off Kongur and pulled out Oran. Kongur backed up while she tried to hold off the monster. After weeks of peace, everything was suddenly happening. Ilona tried to land a blow to the monster.

The beast swiped Oran out of Ilona's hands and gave a satisfying growl, raising up a clawed hand to strike her when a large rock hit the wendigo's skull hard and caused it to refocus it's attention. Looking up, it saw Isaac in a tree, it's head snapping to follow his movements as he hopped down. He placed his hands on Ilona's shoulders and growled something at the wendigo. It paused, hissed something irritably, and bounded off.

Ilona watched the wendigo run off. I-I had it handled... she stuttered. She looked up at him. A smile started to come to her face, but she stopped herself.

"Sure you did, doll." He picked up Oran to give it to Ilona but the moment he touched it's handle the metal burned his hand and he freaked out, disappearing.

Ilona grabbed the sword. Oh.. I-Isaac.. sorry. she said quietly. She put the sword in its scabbard and shut her eyes tight. Oran seemed to glow a bit, causing Ilona to frown at it. Oran, you scared him off. she mumbled.

(Slamming my head off the desk, I have major writer's block right now)
In the distance, the wendigo's angry road sounded from the way Ilona had come. Isaac sat on Ilona's horse's back, blowing on his hand. "Oops," he said in delight as he heard the wendigo's cry, " I forgot to mention to that beast I left the corpses in the reflection of the clearing.. Guess no dinner for him tonight. " Isaac grinned mischievously, " By the way, I don't think your magic sword likes me. "

Ilona looked at him and smiled. Oh hey! Ya, Oran is.. well ya, he isn't fond of you. He doesn't really like me either but I am fit for his purposes so he will accept me. She said. She shrugged a bit. She walked over to his side. You also tried to kill me earlier so that doesn't always sit well with magical swords either. she giggled. She clearly wasn't angry.
