Main Character Nightwalker
He's a Nightwing who goes to Jade Mountain Academy with his twin sister Starhealer. He was hatched in the Rainforest Kingdom under two full moons but only has the ability (That he knows of ;3) to read minds, while his sister can see into the future. He's very strong and athletic but is quiet and prefers the company of close friends. Nightwalker is friendly with any dragon even if there a jerk to him. Above all he would do anything to protect his sister and family.
Other Character Starhealer
She's a Nightwing who goes to Jade Mountain Academy with her l twin brother Nightwalker. She was hatched in the Rainforest Kingdom under two full moons but only has the ability (That she knows of ;3) to see into the future, while her brother can read minds. Starhealer can be sarcastic and aloof to dragons she doesn't know, but hates seeing others hurt and will help them whenever she can. Above all she would do anything to protect her brother and family
Story
Nightwalker peeked his head over the rock, glanced around, and and quietly chuckled to himself. He was in the entrance of a secret cave at the base of Jade Mountain. He'd found the cave as a dragonet and it had become a special place for him to get away and unwind.
Of course right now it was being used to hide from his twin sister Starhealer. Him and Starhealer had hatched from the same egg, his parents were pretty shocked when two dragonets came tumbling out bundled together in a tangle of limbs. They said they'd hardly made any sound when they had hatched which had concerned them greatly at first. But as him and Starhealer grew they learned that they were content, and didn't make much of a fuss when they were together.
Nightwalker ears twithched foward as something scraped on the ground and startled him out of his thoughts. He looked around wildly, his eyes quickly scanned the cave entrance. After waiting a few tense moments Nightwalker slowly lowered his wings and relaxed his grip on the rock. He was almost sure he had heard- "Boo!" a voice shouted and a head popped up in front of his.
Nightwalker yelped and jumped backward in shock bumping his head on the cave ceiling.
" Owww " he groaned and rubbed his head in pain. " How'd you sneak up on me!? "
Starhealer snorted " That was the easy part. " she said looking him up and down " You know you're to big to be in that cave right? "
He looked around and realized he might have grown a tad to big for the cave . Nightwalker shifted around and tried to wiggle out but to no anvil. He sighed in exasperation and looked at Starhealer with narrowed eyes.
" This isn't funny " He growled at her
" No not funny at all " She deadpanned
" I can see you trying not to laugh " He huffed in amusement.
She rolled her eyes and smiled at him " Come on we better get you out before were late to class. "

Sorry It's getting a bit long! I hope you like it this is actually one my first time writing a story :3
I saw your thread and decided to give it a shot. I read quite alot of books so hopefully that gives me a little bit of writing skills ^-^
