The leak grew slightly, and then Yang tried to put a scrap in, to close it. The alarms were still going, and Yang tried to get them to be quiet at the same time.

"Akio, can you either hold this scrap in place or fuse it together?" she asked as she handed you a melting tool to melt them together.

"Yeah I'll fuse it," replied Akio , proceeding to fuse it, or at least attempt to.

It holds, but suddenly there is a big boom, and the whole room smoked up. Yang fell down, but it is too foggy to see if she was hit by anything, and if she is still alive. You know that you are under attack.

Akio instantly dropped to the floor where there would be the least smoke and crawled over to where he saw Yang fall down while keeping an eye out for any immediate danger.

Thankfully, she's breathing, but her right arm is bleeding profoundly. It must have taken the brunt of the impact from the rouge blast. There is another gun blast, and it heads right over your head. Shouts come from the hallway. Shadows flicker across the walls as fire starts somewhere.

Akio yanked off his sock and attempted to use it as a bandage (resourceful boi Akio) then try to drag her out.

The sock was a genius plan, though it doesnt quite work as you hope. Though, fortunately, it stays in place. As you start to drag her, she mumbles something. At least I was left handed. she opened her eyes a tiny bit. If I. she hesitates, and then continues. Die, I want to be known as the one that tried. Trying is all that matters. her breathing start growing shallower, and her heart beats slow down as well. You look around you and notice that the noises in the hall have quieted, leaving only the normal purring of the engine and the sound of your steady, and Yangs unsteady, breathing. Everything is eerily quiet otherwise. The gun shots still rang in your ears, but not the hall. As you exit, you see, well, the fact that you don't see means that the power was cut off from there.
