(Please note this didn't happen with you, but often when a player finds, attempts to catch, or catches a sylesti their game ends and they can go for another slot if it is open depending.)
Story:
You walk into a huge mouth of the cave, glittering with icicles and snow. A small river runs through the cave. The cave gets much smaller as you walk inwards. It keeps going back farther. You hear a bubble sound once from the little river. What do you do?

I get a net out and prepare to catch whatever is hiding.

I check if the river is clean and if it is I take a drink.

You scoop your net over the bushes, taking some with you. The sylesti shakes itself free of the brush. You successfully caught a bulbori with a shiny golden tag (tagged theme.) For this reason I ask if you take this pet not to do so with intent of releasing it. Do you keep them or let them go?

You put your hands in the water, sniffing to determine if the water is clean. When you do so, something soft touches you and splashes you then disappears. The water is clean.

It is now calmed down and happy to go with you. You have 1 remaining net in your bag to catch sylestis with. You are standing on the tracks with your lil bulb by the bushes on the tracks in the snow.

I think about it for a minute and decide I think we might be able to find some neat stuff if we take a look in the cave. Not going to too far in.
