Non story mode. By alchemy I assume you mean able to make things like elixirs and potions from elements such as herbs and flowers. Is this correct, what you mean? If not please explain your desired skill for me.

Story mode:
As you step inside you see it is totally empty. You decide it is abandoned. You see a tiny one room with a bed but no mattress or blankets or anything. A small chest upon opening you find empty. There is a small fireplace and some utensils. Among the items in your bag with you are 2 nets, two wrapped sets of herbs you can make into 2 healing potions with a few more flowers and oils, a few bottles to store things you make in, and some wrapped bread to eat.
What do you do now?

You curiously bend down and try to feel the blue flower. It's pretty and warm despite the cold and Aah! Alive as well, squiggling in your hand! You let go in surprise and it flies up back onto your hand. It's a little aeridini with a flower tail.

It looks calm and happy. You realize if you want this sylesti you wouldn't need to even use a net as it already likes you. Do you want to keep the pet or set it back down?
