I'm pretty sure a female child of Thor wouldn't have the name Thor'son', it would be Thorsdottir

Both are accepted, but I'm gonna ask you to tweak something on your student form. Only the sons of the Norse went by their father's name and added son at the end. Girls took their mother's name (or she can keep her father's name) and added dottir to the end. That is one thing Marvel managed to keep accurate between real mythology and itself.
