He jumped out of his pool. "I almost forgot!" he said, grabbing two pouches from where they hung on the wall above each of their private scroll racks. "Here!" Hurricane handed her one, the one that hung over hers, then opened his own. Inside it was a small Quartz crystal with his name inscribed in it, a stamp with a curling wave, and a small vial of midnight blue ink. "What's in yours?" he asked the SkyWing. "I'm Hurricane, by the way!"

Tempest hurried along the corridor, trying to find a flight course someone had told her about. She was going so fast she crashed into a NightWing with pretty silver markings. Filthy hybrid. she thought. The NightWing looked sh though Tempest had hit her. She realized too late they had silver scales in the corners of her eyes.
"I'm so-" Tempest began, but the NightWing shoved past her angrily.
Tempest shrugged and stepped into a nearby cave that she saw another SkyWing and a SeaWing in.

The contents were made of a Quartz Crystal like his, with her name one it. For the winglet, she noted mentally. The second was a vial of copperish red ink, and the stamp was a small 'flame' symbol. "That seems to be it."

A female SeaWing looked out at all the students. "ATTENTION!!!" Tsunami bellowed. "Everyone go to your winglet caves!!! DON'T ARGUE!!!" she added as a draget opened her mouth. "Meet your clawmates and classes will start tomarrow!!!"
