Ethan mumbled rude swears words... A chest injury, and she was coughing blood! What if the glass had pierced her lungs, or any other organ? He was no doctor! He knew how to take shards of feet or arms, but this was not the same!

"Are you sure we should take the shard out? it could make it worst... Do you think it touches your lungs?"
He was thinking.
"We have to cover this wound, but I think we should try to contact someone, call the emergencies and ask them what to do before trying anything else. Does anyone have a phone which is not broken? I'll see if I find some bandages or at least clean cloth in the bags, and soap and water".

After a while, Mattie regained conciousness. He crawled to his legs, only to fall back down

" Im not sure if it reached my lungs or not. It doesn't feel too deep, but I cant come up with another explanation as to why Im coughing up blood. " Ivory sighed. " But I guess your right, if it did reach my lung, we shouldnt touch it yet, or else we risk injuring it more, we need bandages, cloth, did the first aid kit survive? We should look for that. " She went on and on with a lot of medical procedures she had seen on documentaries.

" And we wont have cell service out here. " She added.

"Yeah, we probably won't have cell service here in the middle of nowhere... And looking at the state of the plane, I don't think any of its communication devices are still working... There is no satellite phone, or anything else like that, right? I hope someone received the emergency call..."

He looked at all the people around, and most, if not all of them, suffered from various injuries. His hand, body and head were still hurting, but at least he could walk, which did not seem to be the case of everybody.

"I'll look for the emergency kit. I think it's supposed to be in one of those boxes...Do any of you have medical knowledge?"

" I have some, but im no doctor. I watch documentaries a lot, so I learned a thing or two, I could help out with injuries, but I might have to leave my own injury alone. " Ivory offered.
