Also, I was wondering if there was any way to change my character's disease? Early death just seems kinda blunt and dull, like all the others live with inconveniences because of their illness, but mines just gunna straight up die?

I'm thinking a substitute could be something like weakened senses, like her 5 core senses don't work as well as everyone else's?

These sicknesses so re meant to affect them for their life, and are supposed to play out through the entire story. But I did imagine the rider would slowly get weaker and weaker, so maybe her senses just fade slowly.
