Rayne's eyes widened when she saw the owl take of and the boy lunge. She put her hand on the window and attempted to shove it down. Her own owl, Arden, shrieked as he attempted to figure out what was going on.

Bastian managed to grab Spectre and carefully pinned his wings to the side before losing his balance and crashing onto the floor. He sat up quickly and adjusted a rather ruffled Spectre. He looked sheepishly at the three other people in the carriage. "Sorry about that," he said.

Rayne chuckled slightly, finding the whole situation slightly amusing now that it was over. "It's fine. Feisty owl, huh? Mine would do the same if he got the chance- at least, now he might. How do you get it- I'm sorry, Spectre, right? -to deliver your letters?"

"Thanks for the help," Bastian said, standing up with Spectre. He laughed at Rayne's comment. "See, it's easy to get him to deliver letters, it's getting him to actually drop them that's the issue," he said.
