I inhaled sharply, propping myself up on my right arm. With my free hand, I reached out for my scissors, gritting my teeth together as I stretched. Air rushed out of my lungs as I wrapped a finger around them, and pulled them closer until I clutched the dull metal tightly.

Trembling, I re-positioned myself, forcing myself to stand. My legs were shaking underneath me, barely able to support my frame. I slipped one hand down and across my abdomen, the pain increasing and the taste of bile rising in my throat.

One step. Then another. In the distance, I could see shelter - a small shack, crudely built with an unstable appearance. A poor source of shelter, but better than nothing.

I glanced down at myself, and closed my eyes momentarily. I had to focus - should danger come along, I would have to camouflage, and in my weakened state, that would be more difficult than any other time. When I re-opened them, my hand faded out of sight, but I could not extend the ability to the rest of my arm.

No matter. I should just get out of here.

"Um, okay I guess. I'm Garrett Jonsetta." Garrets said, annoyed. He kept looking at the dead man, hoping to find something important. "You still haven't told me who you are." he reminded the girl.

"Yes, I'm Raven, Raven Lucas and as far as I know your safe, no dangerous reports anyway." Raven finally felt safe enough to walk next to them and examine the body. She searched his pockets for any identification.

Garrett's leg started to sting so he took off his backpack and took out a water bottle. He opened it slowly and poured a tiny bit on his leg. His leg screamed in agony but he kept pouring it on. "So. Are you traveling with anyone?" Garrett asked Raven.

"Yes, yes I am, I'm travelling with a man called Logan. He should be around here somewhere." Raven finally took her hand from the dead man's pocket and inside was what looked like a license. "Aha! Found something!"

Manabi skittered off into a alley way which had many paths it was like a maze but she knew where to go, she wen't through the maze like path to her home when she finally reached there, it was just a campfire and a tent filled with food and water. She curled up near the fire while her other heads look around only a few layed down with her she took a nap for a bit then woke up to eat some food which was just tomato soup and canned fish, she was pretty much homeless because of what happened a group of people came to her home and raided her home for almost everything she had then they burned it down, she barely escaped the fire well it didn't do much to her dragon scales other than heat it up a bit.

Garrett looked up, reaching for the id. "Corey Garrison, 23, from Dunedin Florida. Well. I'm from La Grange, Texas, so I have no idea who this man is." Garret tried to stand once more but fell. I guess I'll just teleport the rest of the way... He thought to himself

"But why was he after you?" She asked quietly. Behind her, Logan appeared in the path. "Raven?" He called out "We need to go!" Raven rushed over to him. "Logan! You're here!"

Garrett turned his head, seeing the man standing by Raven. His hurt leg was stretched out to the side of him, the burnt spot clearly visible. Garrett teleported over to the 2,"I have no idea why he would try and kill me. Maybe he was in one of the groups that go around killing people." Garrett looked up from the ground at Raven.

"Hmm, strange. Oh right!" Raven muttered. "Logan this is Garrett, Garrett this is Logan." She introduced them to each other. "So. Where are you going to go now Garrett? Or do you want to join us?" Raven felt he could be trusted and it was always good to have another pair of hands."
