Altair-
He saw the female carry the male away, the male as he had thought was a colored. He couldn't sit and let this happen! Raising to his feet he followed them silently as he had taught himself to do. Carefully he over took them before stepping out in front of them. No words were said as he stood before them head down to keep her from seeing his eyes.

Maria~

"Wait! Where are you going?! I didn't even catch your name!" She called though it was too late. The shadow being was gone. And just when she had thought that this may have been the one that she could speak to and not have to worry about having to kill them. With a sigh she retuned to the water and gazed at herself in the now grey substance. If only she could find one like herself, then things would be different. She wouldn't feel so alone then. Sadly though she hadn't been able to find anyone but herself that still had color. It just made her feel all the worse.

As Kara dragged him, she broke into a more spacious area. Then, she saw the morkko. She froze as she saw the morkko, her brain whirring with all the morkko training she had went through with her owner.

"I hope you're more talkative than my friend here" Korak croaked out jokingly.

"I am not gone really...." Shadow said. "Just in the shadows." She smiled. "My name is Shadow." Shadow said and asked. "Yours is?"

Altair-
Still he said nothing as he stood before them. A growl broke through his throat before he lefted his head some to expose his barred teeth. Did he dare to speak? No not yet not till he knew she wasn't going to back down from him.

Kara felt his hostility, and loosened her grasp on the male's neck. Just quietly enough for the male vulnyx to hear, she said "If he attacks, you run." With that, she lifted her head defiantly and said "What do you want?"

"Let's not be rash here, my furry friends." His gaze pointed at the Morkko. "I'm afraid that if it comes to fighting, I'll side with the lady".

Altair-
Looks like he would have to use his words after all. The growled stopped as he raised his head enough to show his colored eyes out from under his hood. "There will be no fighting as long as you don't try and take him." The morkko pointed his nose in the direction of the male cat like animal.

Maria~
She looked up a bit frightened at the voice. "Oh I'm Maria. It's nice to meet you Shadow. Let me be be the first to say that it's nice to not have someone attack you right on the spot."
