I am trying to press the use item button for the newbie adventurers satchel but the button it is not going green

Hmm... I think you should post this in the bug forum. The admins will be able to look into your account to see why you can't open the satchel.

Are you playing on a tablet? If so, you'll need to click the item twice before the use button will be usable (the background of the item turns green when it's clicked twice).
