You decide to watch it. it decides to watch you. After a couple of minutes the Koalus finds a nearby branch and sits on it, still watching you, and grabbing a couple nearby leaves to munch.

I will slowly raise Gurz Kagat to it, though not in a threatening way. I only hold it out to the creature to see what it will do.

The Koalus understands that what you are pointing at it is sharp, and can hurt it, it quickly crawls up the tree and hides behind a few branches.
(By this point, basically free options.)

I frown and withdraw my claymore. Now curious, I whistle a short tune, hoping it will be just as curious and peek its head out.

You wait, nothing comes out, but you hear a snarl.

At first it tries to watch you through the branches, but realizes it doesn't have a good view, so it comes out and clings to the tree, still higher up than before, and ready to crawl even higher in the tree to escape if it has to.

I'm going to smile at it and hope it knows I mean no harm (for once).
I find this Koalus quite cute.

A little bunny comes out, and hops around, but does not ever pass you, it stays between you and the hole.
Definately not the source of the snarl, you decide.
