I'm not picking a fight Mutie. And honestly, that's kinda rude to think that I am. I was just putting in my opinion and thoughts. Okay so I must have misunderstood somewhere but that's why I was asking for an explanation.

How things are taken by one, is based on how they perceive it, lol. I was merely throwing my opinion out, like you were. While i may not have been up to your standards of respectful, I was not harassing you, nor typing profanity at you, I was merely having a discussion with you, but you're more than welcome to look more into text than needed.

But Reth probably doesn't mean to sound rude. I mean, I kinda didn't see any kind of tone or anything like that in the beginning. It was just an opinion. *shrugs* Everyone is entitled to them. But words can be misunderstood even if the person isn't assuming anything. (Like me for example because I get confused easily.)

So, maybe the hostile tone you saw in Reth's post, was a misunderstanding from what he actually means it to sound like? Iunno...its just my thought.

Anything implied by Rethe's tone was taken from past experiences. @Rethe you have a bad habit of being snide and sarcastic when it's completely unnecessary, like now. I'm leaving now, I have a wedding to attend. lol

Alright, that got way out of hand very quickly.

I just want to say that me and Krin have absolutely zero issues with people expressing opinions they have about the game - whether we agree with them or not. We know that there are a lot of people that have problems with the color swing on the generator, so as stated by Krin...we'll be doing an update to the Diamond Shop/Scale Shop to add some more suggestions into the game. Whether this will effect the color swing on the generator or not remains to be seen.

However - Rethelen your first post came off as attacking Mutie over their opinion. As an outside party reading that, that is the tone that I perceived from your post. You should never tell another user that if they don't like the game that they have the option of leaving. That is not the type of attitude that I expect someone to have in our community.

We all need to understand that everyone will have differing opinions about Sylestia. This game is my baby, so any negative opinions about the game...I take it the hardest out of any user on the site. However, my reaction is not to start attacking users that have differing opinions about the game. It is important to listen to the other side of the spectrum to understand their point of view, which is why I asked Mutie what other games they were referring to...so I could go and take a look at those games and see what was different about them.

As much as I want to think my baby is perfect (like any good mother and their kid) I have to come to accept the fact that Sylestia isn't. Sylestia is a game and will never be the same, it'll always be constantly evolving and growing (hopefully always for the good). We obviously had a vision for Sylestia when we created it, we will always try to stick to the core of our vision for the game...but that doesn't mean there won't be any changes to the game.

So what I'm trying to say here...please don't ever be afraid to express your suggestions and opinions for the game. I think that a lot of times games will get so set into their ways that when someone new comes in and tries to suggest something...that they get shut down because the owners/older users aren't open to new suggestions.

This doesn't mean that me and Krin will jump on every suggestion and implement it into the game. We always consider the pros and cons to a suggestion and whether or not we think that idea will be a good fit for Sylestia. We always have the game and users best interests at heart when we implement things. And we're fully aware that not everyone is going to like what we do, but aiming to please everyone is something that is entirely impossible. We will still try though.

So anyways...be nice to each other whether you all like each other or not. At least on the public surface show a level of respect to each other - I know not everything is always rainbows and sunshine. It always makes me feel really proud of our game when new users say that they can't believe how welcoming the community is here. Please try to keep this trend going!
