hehe I tend to really favor fire pokemon, so I totally chose both fennekin and charmander >> and then immediately caught a fletchling.

Yes Don. ALL THE FIRE TYPES

I wasn't gonna say anything BUT I went in your safari and your type is really cool, so sorry for rambling about a mechanic you'll be introduced to later

Friend safaris are like the safari zones from other games, with a really fun twist: instead of there being one big area with a defined set of pokemon in it, each user has their own safari with the pokemon inside being based on that user's ID number! You can't access your own safari, but your friends can go in there and catch cool 'mons all they want :O

You can access friend safaris unlock after you beat the elite four and have 3 pokemon in them, but your friends can go in them as soon as they friend you. The first two pokemon are available in your safari by default, and the third one is unlocked after you beat the elite four.

For future reference, your safari type is dragon and you have shelgon and gabite! pretty nice if you ask me.

Oh cool. I don't really know who those are but at least I know now XD I did some reading about it earlier. I didn't k ow that you could access mine immediately though, so that's cool. Hopefully my third mystery 'mon will be something cool :) I have been beasting through and have 5 or 6 badges now I think. I had 2 this morning :p I am using mostly traded pokemon that level faster from when I started and was figuring everything out. Did a couple wonder trades that turned out cool. Also did a few GTS trades. So I have been breezing through the game XD

ahh nice! I took a turn for the obsessive and spent the last week aggressively working on my pokedex. On the plus side, I completed the regional dex! On the down side, I put hours and hours of my life into this that I'll never get back :p

That said, if you ever need any pokemon for your pokedex, I can hook you up.

Sweet :) I figure I have fly now so I will go for filling if I get bored grinding, otherwise I'll do it after I beat the elite 4. I have been trying to catch them as I go, but if they don't want to come home with me then I say screw them. OH O did just get Gengarite.... but can only get gengar through a trade so if you have an extra haunter floating around I wouldn't say no :p

Congrats on getting part of the dex done. I kind of like that it is split up in this one. I have NEVER filled my dex before so if I manage it I will probably die :p

I have wasted a lot of time on the game today... but since I'm not working I don't have much to do. I mean I DO... I need to clean, but moving too much makes my hip horridly painful so I have neen mega lazy :p

Have you never played pokemon? :p I love the games. They are all pretty similar but they are different enough that I personally still like playing them all :)

Fair enough. I am enjoying it so far. Then again I have liked all of them. If you hadn't noticed I am a hoarder so collecting pokemon is the best XD
