Oh, that's a pretty good range. How about fluffy level, lots of fluff? Or more lab like?

Very pretty! *I LOVE fluffy dogs, and big dogs...they make me feel safe*

Looks like even the sleek one would need an undercoat comb/brush.

Most big fluffy dogs do pretty well here regardless of the tempatures(both hot and cold), then again when it's too hot out for me stepping out side becomes walk to mailbox and back in(and potty for doggy will be added to that), I cant be out in temps over 85 for more than a half hour or I'll start to get sick, and IF I'm feeling icky from the temp then I'm certianly not going to make my dog stay out too long either. When walks during summer highs are a must, then my dog will have prtective socks or shoes so no risk of burning the paws. I know where the shady spots are on the route I walk so regular cool down walks, and I'll bring and be able to access water(water fountian and portible water bowl) for him/her. And winters here if I have a fluffy dog I won't have to worry too much as the only really big need would be socks/shoes so he/she doesnt get frozen/icy paws.

I do need a good pack/saddle bag style pack for him/her once he/she is old enough to carry things so that he/she could carry his/her own water/snacks/treats, my wallet, and a special pouch for my asthma meds. But all that will be under ten pounds so even a 9 month to 18 month old dog could do that no problem and no risk to the joints, AND it would get the pup use to having weight placed on him/her so panic when needing to brace or counter ballance me when I have my knee(s) partly dislocate, or after a fall when I need help to stand back up.
