Stingrays are cute, but I saw this one documentary about them a couple of weeks ago, and boy oh boy am I never going near a stingray ever again.

My dad once told me his uncle (?) had a saltwater aquarium. He even had a lionfish, apparently.

...and now I'm sitting here thinking how nice it would be to have a saltwater aquarium. I've only had freshwater, and even then, nothing special in them. Except for that one time I had a flowerhorn. He got so big, you could throw in a large earthworm and he'd just slurp it up. That's also why I had to get rid of him, sadly.

(Speaking of the flowerhorn, here's a funny story: When we went to buy him, we were actually planning on getting a female, since they're cheaper. So the salesperson just leads us up to the tank of females, and we look at them, trying to pick a nice one. Suddenly, my sister (Sheepy on here) rushes forward and points to a fish, saying that we should get that one. The salesperson goes ahead and fishes "her" out, when suddenly they laugh and say that it was actually a male that had accidentally gotten in the tank of females...and that's how we got a male flowerhorn cichlid for the price of a female.)
