Since I think you said you didn't understand the dragon system, you can choose one from the list of students and he (or she) can be Nixi's riding partner.

Nyzaennath, Tharyxkrerak, or "Aeora" Faeorsvaerija I think might fit nixi the best? She'd be drawn to their colors. Mostly Nyzaennath.

Appearence: Dark green body, black head and faint black stripes. His wings fade to a beautiful mottled emerald and jade. His eyes are the color of scarlet flame, he has a "crown" of long swept back horns along his head and a pair of fairly small fins that go along the edge of his chin and lower jaw. (Hehe, Fin-Chin) He also has small swept back spikes going down his back and a large fin on his tail to help with steering. Last but not least, he has a jagged scar going across the end of his snout.
Personality: Headstrong, stubborn, rash and proud. But loyal, protective and kind to his very few friends. (Nixi) Underneath his calloused exterior he is lonely, and the only thing he really wants is to be loved, although, he doesn't know it and goes about it the completely wrong way.
Bio/History: His parent helped end the war 47 years ago and people have always expected him to live up to their name. However it is his twin sister Thraekaaruna who got most of the attention and love in his formative years making Nyzaennath a bitter and overall unpleasant individual. He is extremely jealous of his sister but loves her dearly, his parents however, he has issues with.
Anything else: He wears a thick golden band on his left bicep an two on his tail. He also prefers red meat over other foods.

Jewelry: A wolf's head pendant on a cord of braided leather. The pendant itself is too dull and heavy to be silver, rather it appears to be made of iron or steel.

Personality: Kind, sweet, shy and caring with a beastial edge.
Bio/History: Unknown
Anything else: She has a wolf companion named Luna and a dark secret that most students are dying to discover.

Race: Broad-Wing Gryphon
Appearance: Like this but older and with many scars.

Personality: Temperamental and extremely sarcastic.
Bio/History: She is a veteran from the near the end of the Thousand Year War.
Anything else: Her screech is loud enough to be heard for miles and she wears a single silver earring with an emerald hanging down from it.

Personality: Enigmatic and extremely intelligent, he likes to use massive words just to show off. (I might not always stay true to this, big words are hard)

Anything else: He absolutely loves puzzles of any kind, and eating fish, big ones.

Race: The last of a rare breed of wingless, furred dragons.

Human form appearence: Instead of taking a human form Hakunath takes the form of an anthropomorphic white fox.
Appearance:

Personality: A figure of level-headed patience and limitless wisdom.
Bio/History: Unknown
Anything else: He has a jewel called The Gem of a Thousand Eyes which hovers above his forehead, it allows him to view the past, the present, and every possible future.

Anything else: He scoffs at magic, because it is the only thing that scares him

Name: Follows-Many-Trails

Clothing/Armor: The traditional Sathikr outfit made of leather, bone and feathers.
Jewelry: Her pet Wyvern often sleeps draped around her neck like a golden necklace.

Magic: A small amount of earth magic
Appearence:
Personality: Adventurous and curious about almost everything.
Bio/History: She was a Huntress for her native tribe before joining the academy to help teach its students about the many creatures of Alaivar. She is still fairly young and extremely beautiful (by Sathikr standards)
Anything else: She has a small (cat-sized) Wyvern that is completely loyal to her and will do anything she wishes. His name is Sun-Dancer


Ps: I have changed some of the teachers quite a bit from the original list.

So I really like Nyza. A lot. I'd love to have you? play him when him and Nixi meet? I'd love to have them interact and grow to get to know each other. I feel like he'd HATE Nixi at first and I'd like to test them out with one another. If that'd be okay?

No problem :) I'd love to play out that side of the interaction. In my mind he'd think Nixi's a little pest.

Edit: I love Hakunath - his picture is Haku from Spirited Away (his dragon form at least), and I generally like anything that looks like a Chinese, Japanese dragon lol, since I'm chinese (biased) >< /////He's the last wingless dragon? Or the last wingless dragon with fur?

Both, he is the last wingless dragon, all the others were wiped out in the war.

Awww poor thing~ Ah well - Lopai, I accidentally lost a huge chunk of info form my chars due to not noticing the maintenance and trying to send the message, so my chars will be even later....

oh great! I can't wait to see how they get along!
