Hey krin, can we do the customs on a program without transparent backgrounds and use things like SUMOPAINT to make it transparent? Just curious...

I am not familiar with those so I don't know.
It would depend on how the final image looks and if it meets the requirements.

On an app on the ipad I use called Ibis paint x, there is no transparent background (which I would use sumopaint or da Muro) and I would have to trace the lineart... So yeah... Would that be acceptable?

But like I said, I'd have to see the final image to tell you for sure.

there are online sites that can turn a portion of your images from white (or whatever color) to transparent.
One I managed to find is called lunapic.
If anything, you can ask a user to make it transparent for you. o: If you can color within the PSD file (the custom monthly's file format), and upload it to a dropbox (or some other file hosting site) and send it to another user, they can probably turn it into a proper transparent picture for you.

Gah, since I can't trace the lineart, I guess I'll have to use SAI, which I believe has transparent background anyways >.>
