Believe me, I know how frustrating it can be, but the bottom line is their house, their rules. I still get crap from my stepfather and I don't even live with them, I just rent an apartment with them as my landlords. Instead of trying to focus on ways to earn back privileges, I've learned from experience it's better to redirect yourself to something productive such as focusing on studies or spending time with your family. You'll get things back when they give them to you and not a moment before. I used to be heavily into an MMO in high school and ran into a lot of what you are now, especially with the modem blocking. It angered and frustrated me to no end but looking back on it now, I really appreciate that my mom was concerned about my habits and did her best to keep it from getting out of control when I clearly wasn't able to. You probably aren't in anywhere near the same situation I was, but time has given me a whole lot of perspective I wish I had back then.

It's over, my parents and I had a small talk and everything is fine...except they're still charging the iPad in the room...I told them everything. XD
