Ive always for some odd reason. Never really liked fire types, unless they were like adorable. My all time favorite of the 3 starter types has to be water, ive had an odd attachment to water types, instead of choosing Charmander like I wanted to of the 2nd starters from the professor, I chose the water type Squirtle. I named him Squishy and hes been in my party ever since XD. Xerneas has to be my favorite legendary next to Jirachi, I traded for a Jirachi pokemon card a few days ago and I freaked out because they said yes to the trade.
(Yes I do have pokemon cards, cuz theyre cute)
They gave me a houndoom too then for about the entire day I said 'Doom' under my breath.... Yep I know what your thinking, im a wierdo when it comes to ... well generally anything XD. Tehehehe im even worse when it comes to anime shows... lol. Now... gotta find an anime conversation forum...

I didn't picked Fire only because I heard that it was hard at the start and Grass was easier to start with, then I grew really close to my Bulbasaur as he evolved into a Venusaur, even if it wasn't the prettiest Pokemon on Earth, he was awesome in my Trainer's eyes~ <3

This is what I use to store them.
The small "book-like" is used for "Item" and "Energy" Cards I deside to keep, only because they're nice looking or just to have them~ XD

The large thing hold most of my collection from Gen 1 to Gen 6 and it's still missing extra pages to have place for all the Pokemon cards!
I put them in DEX order, if I have more than one of the same Pokemon, I put them all in the same spot, but if it's more like different forms like Burmy and such, I place them at the end, just like with my Unowns, where I picked my fav "set" of Unown and just placed the other at the end.

This is to give you an idea of the size of the collection itself, comparing with my hand, it almost do my longest finger~ XD

(Which means, how much Pokemons I have NO cards of at all.)

Gen II : 24 (Not including different Unowns in that count)
Gen III : 46
Gen IV : 29
Gen V : 8
Gen VI : 35

For the last Gen, I didn't included any Pokemon after Z (Won't name him for no spoil) that may be included later, at least not until they're released as cards~ XD

I hope to one day get all the cards I'm missing!
With the tons of Doubles, bet I could get nice trades, if I could just find people living in the same city that got the ones I'm missing~ XD
My Goal is : Complete the "Dex", for the fun, because this is the best way to do it, without being in a game and cheat the 100% because some Pokemons aren't possible to get otherwise... =/

HOLY COWS! (Yes I put cows with an s) thats a LOT of pokemon cards! I buy thepacks T.T I dont have nearly as many as you, mines only as thick(the cards themselves) as about my pinkie T.T and Yeah Its almost impossible to get ALL of them I hope you acheive your goal! If I could I would help, but I probably live over 1000 miles from you and it would be impossible to trade. My goal is to get all of the cute pokemon *whispers Pachirisu* I used to have the figurine, but my sister accidently broke it, now im looking on Ebay for the same style and year as mine, it was like a 2005 version (it broke in 2008) If I could figure out how to find my friend xode I would so friend you on pokemon X and Y. I cant wait for Pokwmon Ruby and Sapphire to come out, Kygore and Grudon are like my 3rd and 4th favorite legendarys ^-^

Well, once I was able to buy some and that I didn't had my stupid mom saying it's not for my age, I bought a lot and hid them at my bf's house(well his dad's), until we moved, I collected a lot, I did what I always wanted when younger, with just a LOOOOOOT more cards~ XD

One day, I would TOTALLY want to complete this collection of mine~ <3
Just need to find Traders around~ XD
And then hope it's English cards, I don't want stupid French cards, English names for both Pokemons and Attacks sound way cooler in English than French~ XD
I'm very picky, I have only a few cards in French and that's because I had only those at first and no English to put over it to hide the ugly French names!~ XP

I wanna do that with the pokemon cards! Step 1) Get a BF lol Step2) if step 1 fails, hide them at your grandmothers house. :D Step3) Buy a ton of pokemon cards~ im like you, my mom NEVER lets me buy Pokemon cards, she says the same thing, or she says Maybe(for her its a sugarcoated no) So the only time I can buy some cards is when im at my Grandparents house or my uncles house, my cusin buys pokemon cards all of the time while shes there, so they dont mind. ^-^ the ultimate pokemon card scheme, MUHAHAHA

Don't worry, she won't be able to stop your Poke-love once you're out of the house and you'll be able to collect them as you please~ X3

I did for was seemed like thousands of year, but was really just 15 or so~ XP
My mom hate video games because she think it's for boy, but I own video games for giving me the wish to learn English and English helped me making friends on the Net, that helped me wanting to re-socialize again with the "real world" slowly but surely after being traumatized, I think she have nothing to say to my video games~ XP
At least I wasn't playing Shooting games~ XD
