(oop sorry don't think i got the ping :/)
"A...what now?" They ask, but take the hand anyways. They're not going to question it too much when someone's offering help. Not like they really know what to do anyways, considering they don't know where they are, where to go, or what's out there. Best to just follow whoever's in sight and see what happenes
(ack im so sorry that's my bad)
She helps you to your feet, leading you through a few back alleyways until you come to a wider, open road. There, you could see where a crowd of people being cornered by a large, dark, almost crystalline monster. "Find something to defend yourself, I'll be back in a moment" She tells you before taking out a device, that shifted into something resembling a chainsaw as she lunged to get between the scared people and the monster.
Looking around, it seemed like just a lot of chaos and destruction, with broken pieces of vehicles and debris scattered about, it didnt seem like there was anything to help you, until you finally spotted something lying on the street

Name
Yvette
Approx age (appearance-wise)
18
Gender
Female
Appearance
A tall, cheerful woman with tanned skin, dark eyes, and waist-length silvery hair generally kept in a messy low bun. She sports a number of bracelets on her left wrist and arm which jingle as she walks, announcing her presence long before she makes her appearance. Clothing-wise, she gravitates toward looser styles, with a special fondness for baggy summer jackets, proclaiming that they allow her a wider range of motion despite their tendency to flap around her on windy days, becoming more of a hassle than a help and smacking most things within a half-foot radius of her person. Perhaps it's just as well, then, that her clothes have a notable lack of pockets; if the opposite were true, she'd have long fallen into debt from the assault charges that would surely be lined up against her. Instead, she shoves most of the items and papers she deems important into a leather crossbody bag, to be either never seen again or fished out at a later time in varying degrees of intactness.
What do you see when you look around?
An endless expanse of watery ground rippling underfoot, despite the absence of wind; a gaping black hole looming above the horizon, seemingly close enough to touch yet impossibly far away; a suffocating emptiness pressing in on all sides. An indistinct buzzing, quiet but insistent, that pervades the air, ebbing and flowing with a sluggish, pulsing rhythm akin to that of the heartbeat of a being in deep slumber.

Welcome aboard!
The void around you is peaceful. The water you stand upon ripples beneath your feet. The space is seemingly infinite in every direction, and impossibly calm despite the black hole, somehow glowing and dark all at the same time.
The emptiness envelopes you. You almost don't realize you're capable of moving, or even breathing for that matter. You can almost hear the echoes of voices, surrounding you but nonexistent at the same time.
The water ripples under your steps, the small waves moving infinitely outward, far beyond your view. In the air, small speckles of light begin to appear, the bubbles almost blinding to look at, yet inspiring a deep sense of peace as they form around you, the largest one gently glowing as it manifests in front of you

For what feels like hours, Yvette stands frozen on the watery expanse, eyes trained straight ahead yet unseeing. It's only when her calves spasm and she nearly stumbles face-first into the ground that she registers her surroundings, and the fact that she's been standing with her every muscle tensed for who knows how long. She grimaces, shaking out her sore limbs, and takes a few tentative steps forward, only for her vision to very nearly white out as a bubble of light decides to materialize in her face, quelling with alarming speed the confusion permeating her every pore.
"What the hell..." she mutters, shaking herself out of the lull in her mind with no small effort. She averts her eyes, blinking furiously to clear the spots in her vision, and begins to walk away, decidedly offended by this whole situation. She manages to take about seven steps--hey, that might be a record for her!--before she spins around and stomps back, her curiosity getting the better of her, like always. She squints into the bubble and prods it with a finger, bracing to be either sucked in or exploded into smithereens.

The bubble pops, light completely enveloping your vision. When the brightness finally faded, you found yourself lying on the ground, several other unconscious people lay around you in a line.
"...I've managed to find a secure room. I've brought all the injured I could manage with me, but I don't think I'll be able to get to the meetup location myself. I'll have to remain here until I'm able to be evacuated" There was a pause. "I'm unharmed, I can last quite a while, but I'm not sure everyone here will be able to..."
You look at the source of the voice, a young man. He was speaking into some sort of device as his eyes scanned the room, finally landing on you.
"...Ophelia, I'll have to call you back, one of them is awake" He said, lowering the device and approaching you, crouching down to be eye level with you.
"Hello, are you okay?" He asked calmly. "Can you tell me who you are, and what you remember?"

They see a large hammer, and you know what? It's probably not the most useful thing ,but those big hammers are pretty heavy, they could probably break a bone or two. They're not the strongest but it's all about the momentum anyways, right? It'll do for now, and hopefully they can get soemthing way better once...whatever this thing is is gone.
They watch the woman with the chainsaw thing. Huh. Unconventional weapons, but hey who knows maybe that's normal around here.

Armed with the hammer, you feel a lot more secure as you see monsters wreak havoc around the town. It weighed heavy in your hands, but that was all the more power to it
The woman with the chainsaw seemed to be holding her own against the monsters well enough, but as she kept her focus on protecting the civilians, she was slowly beginning to become overwhelmed by the forces

They glance down at the hammer. Well, no time like the present to see if it's even remotely a good weapon. Hopefully centrifugal force won't do anything to make the head go flying off. A foot of stick isn't exactly the most useful without the hammer part of the hamemr.
They look for an opening to strike, where they wouldn't accidently hit the woiman but maybe do something against a monster.

what do you see when you look around?:
trash. it's a junk heap of abandoned scrap and outdated electronics, towering up from the earth in a mass of hover cars and starships crushed together in a twist of strewn metal.
(forgive me for the massive delay in getting a sheet out, and feel free to save me on the waitlist if you're out of slots. i was struggling to find a character with the right appearance for the faceclaim haha. also, feel free to disregard the extra info i included in the view more section, i wanted to save the ideas i had for agustin, but this is you're game, and i'm going to roll with whatever you throw my way. <3)
