"That's fair, Lunch sounds wonderful." Mara looked at the poor deshevaled elf and felt some sympathy for him. She understood being "Hangry" she gets rather "Smashy" herself. " I think I'll just get some basic rice and beans since I already treated myself." Mara flashed the cape she was wearing, It had an embroidered collar around the neck of the cloak below the hood, it resembled blood dripping but it almost glittered because it had tiny red beads sewn on it. That was the only design on it other than that it was a rather basic black cloak. Mara liked simplicity and functionalty, hence her armour.

Nikolas was surprised Mara didn't protest against him buying wine. He usually went for the expensive kind and Mara was all about the two of them saving money- both individually and together. He guessed that she saw he was pretty upset with the turn of events.
He groaned loudly, unable to get the cat hair off his cloak and whipping it off, showing the nice clothes he was wearing underneath. Pants with a high, lace-up waist and a white button down with a frilly collar and bell sleeves, as well as sensible boots. It was somehow both incredibly average as to what an adventurer would wear and incredibly expensive for his job.
Now that his hood was off, you could also see his cherry-blossom hair, causing many people to turn and look his way. He made a point to ignore them, shaking off his cloak before draping it over his arm and beginning to walk off, waiving for Mara to follow him.
(I love writing small, angry pretty boys. I'm much too soft for this troupe)

(I feel you're writing Niki rather well as a small, angry, pretty boy. Also I just wanna make sure I write my OCs well, cause writing isn't my strong suit.)

Sighing, Mara caught up to Niki's frustrated walking pace. "I know of a couple spots you can get a something to eat this way, I don't know for sure if they sell alcohol though, they should I think." Making their way down the street and away from the gate they saw a few places open. Mara looked at the nearest one and saw a dwarf exit the door with a pint in hand. Looking back to Niki Mara said smirking "I think this'll do."

Niki slumped into a table at the nicest bar in town, which Mara had led them into. He waved a waiter over, ordering an expensive glass of wine and a nice sandwich. They both cost him twenty gold apiece, but Niki had never minded splurging on physical things like food or clothes. He just hated paying other people to do a job he could do, especially with him being so capable himself.
He seemed to melt into the table. Although he was tired, he was ready to get food in his system and get on the road. That usually made him feel better. It's been about a year sense he's left Yue, so he's more than ready to travel.
(don't say that you're actually such a good author. def one of the most fun rp's ive done ever)

Following Niki to the table in the bar, Mara saw the half-elf sort of "melt" into the chair across from her at the table. Looking at the waiter Niki called over to tell his order to, Mara waited till they finished and said "I'll get a simple chicken and rice dish with a nice ale and Crunch here will have a nice thick slab of beef." Signaling to Crunch and he snapped back in response. It was a little more than expected but Mara did have enough for it all, it only cost 50 gold altogether. Mara went into her new cloak for the money to pay. As she was grabbing for her coin pouch she felt a smile creep onto her face. Her tusks flashed at the waiter before they left Mara hoped she didn't startle the waiter but seeing an orc flash their tusks even if it's non-threatening it still makes people uncomfortable. "I didn't really notice how hungry I was until we came in here." Motioning towards Niki.

Niki laid his head on the table, his hair spread out on the table behind him. He yanked out the ribbon out of his hair, something he rarely did in public, letting his long pink locks pool on the table behind him. Niki's food cost almost twice as much as Mara's, but he didn't mind. He pulled his coin purse from his waist and counted out exactly 82 gold. He hated overpaying and tips, they seemed useless to him. After all, the economy here was good enough for servers not to be grossly underpaid, so why should he have to tip so much?
He looked up at Mara as she spoke, grinning back at her, a rare real grin, not a sarcastic one. He guessed most people found her scary, but most people found him scary too, if not just for his teeth but also for the rumors that surrounded him. Well, the rumors had truth to them, but they've been blown way out of proportion. So what, he's killed people? Still, he didn't make a habit of telling anyone that, he wasn't even sure if Mara knew.
"You're always hungry, Mara" he says, with none of the usual bite to his voice. He sighs, sitting up and stretching. He just looks tired.
(I think that's how writing should be done! Seriously, keep it up!)

Mara looked at Niki and chuckled a little. "Crunch is the one who's always hungry...." Mara pointed to the gator. "....plus my size and fighting style need a lot of fuel to function." Mara looked from Crunch to Niki with his bright hair everywhere. From Niki stretching in the chair Mara saw he was exhausted and probably couldn't wait to eat. Mara turned to look for the waiter but saw wide eyes from customers looking at Niki's hair. Mara sighed and growled a little, the customers that heard it immediately turn there eyes away so quick. Tapping Niki's arm, Mara guestered towards the food coming.
