Hello! I would love to get 2 painted busts of my two fairy siblings, Dimitri and Eva ^^
I'd prefer to pay in gold and would love sketch WIPs for adjustments. They can be done either on the same canvas or separately, whichever is easier/more comfortable for you

is the sphere in his hands important or significant? does it matter if he's drawn without it, or would you prefer it to be there?

Nah, he doesn't need his scrying orb with him. :) I'm also not looking for anything specific~ you have complete artistic freedom with the exception of drastically changing any of his design elements. Design elements would be his hair (this Mer was created using the shape of the Nemes headdress - pieces of striped head cloth worn by pharaohs - as a a design theme) and fins~ They can be simplified~ his base color is a teal body and cream colored fins. Anything bright yellow are painted markings~ the yellow face markings are permanent - any designs on his fins are not. He has them dyed when the old design fades so the pattens on his fin/the rest of his body can be changed. :) More or less though whatever makes this easier/more fun for you I'm okay with.

something did *not* want you to get this; I had a hardware issue, a software issue, and then caught a nasty headcold ;;
But, despite this here is your commission! I had a blast drawing this character, he's very interesting :o
