It was a long way down a rickety old ladder, and at the bottom, you end up in a sewer kind of thing. Blood streaked against the walls and floors where you were, as if a violent scuffle had broken out here. It was still pretty dark, and down the tunnel you could make out something large on the floor, lying in a puddle of dark liquid.

Platinum sensed it was another body, but was it Sine? she took her hood off so her eyes could fully adjust As she kept walking following the blood past the corpse.

It wasn't Sine, but you could recognize the body as one of the cloaked men from before that had pointed a gun at you when you were speaking to another one of the cloaked men. His throat was slit, and blood was gushing from the wound, and it seemed like he was just very recently killed. You continued down the passageway and encountered a few more bodies, mostly with their throats slit, but one man had a throwing knife in the back in the side of his neck. The passageway was still dark, even though you took off your hood. Some distance away you could hear faint gruff voices and a bobbing light.

she removed the knife from the back of the mans neck and headed swiftly to the light staying in the shadows

The knife was cold and dripping with blood. You approach the light quickly, and discover it was from a torch, and the man from earlier was holding it. With him were other cloaked men, and the two guards who'd been guarding the door earlier. They were huddled together and making slow progress down the tunnel, glancing around like they were scared of something... but what?

"They're cans..." He sighs, and throws up his hands. "What do you expect of me? Cans are for canning food and stuff!"
