Asuriel smiled "I'm not exactly skilled, but I have some basic first aide knowledge, and Azrail was helping treat Nellie's wound earlier. We can teach you how to treat injuries if you'd like." She offered

Jade

"Really? Oh thank you! She is the healer of the moon!" Jade cried.

Asuriel gave a small shake of her head. "You are seriously going to have to teach me about this moon based culture you have" she commented, "It's obviously something I won't pick up just from watching"

Jade

"Well, it all started from our founder, Cellis. She was laying in bed one night, wondering why all her family was turning monotone. When she fell asleep, the moon goddess Ou said she was the chosen one, to lead the ones next in line out, though she would die in the process. She sacrificed her life for us, at the time we were very young. Legend says her spirit will be based on to the Enlightened ones, who will end this suffering. To keep her spirit alive we worship the goddess who saved her." Jade said rather grandly.

Nellie

Nellie gave Jade a confused look, then looked at Jazz in even more confusion.

"Wow. What happened to her?" Seren asked "Was Tommy involved?"

Jazzlyn shrugs helplessly to Nellie, equally confused. The way Jade presented it was grand enough, the tale captivating, but she wasn't sure... about any of it, really.

Jack applauded at the story. "That's amazing!" He sits Tiggy upright again next to him since the toy had started to fall over.

"I have a question. How did the moon goddess save her? Cellis died didn't she? Being a sacrifice for people - even for so many and a great cause - doesn't seem like being saved to me." Riley wasn't able to be imaginative at the moment and take it in stride, being rather straight forward and taking words a bit too seriously.

Jade

"Oh her physical body died, but her spirit lives on... And, no, Tommy wasn't the cause of her death.."

Asuriel frowned "What happened then? Was it something we should still watch for?"

Riley shakes his head, still not quite understanding. Azrail catches Riley's eye and he reluctantly follows Azrail's suggestion of staying silent and going with it.
Jack thinks about that. "Her spirit lives on... Do you think that means I can communicate with Cellis? If I can chat with her, can I talk with Grandpa? He always had the best stories. He had so many more he had yet to tell!"
Jazzlyn was thinking along the same line as Asuriel. If there was another danger, could it come back? Of course, there was Tommy and then there was the government which is a different threat.

Asuriel stood up. "Keep talking" she told Jade "I'm listening, I just want to get temporary shelters set up quickly, it's getting late." She waved Seren over to help her and they started pulling tarps and rope out of the packs, and checking for poles or nearby branches to make tents from.
