"Wow rude." I told Nicote as he faded into the darkness. I sighed and walked back to the field to dind my gift.

Vita sighed. She looked at Lydian and smiled, happy he had made a friend. She then started to wander through the field. She did not hear the fighting, she seemed sort of lost in her thoughts. Her journal was at her side. She was half tempted to stop right there so she might write but continued her wandering. She could not understand how she would find this gift.
Her thoughts were interrupted by a gorgeous white stag. Vita nearly screamed. She stared the creature down but it was not intimidated by her. After a moment, she reached up and scratched behind its ear. It lowered its head and she gently kissed its muzzle. It seemed pleased with that. I made a friend! she yelled.
She looked around. It occurred to her that this might be her gift. Well then, I guess you need a name. What about... Crispus! she said. It seemed to like that. She took a little more time to admire him before he kneeled. She gave him a weird look then realized the stag was letting her ride him. She climbed onto his back and he started to slowly walk. She wrapped her arms around his neck and buried her face in his fur. I like this new friend. she mumbled. She began to sort of fall asleep on Crispus, which did not seem to bother the stag.

(Do we have powers from the gods or just our gifts? I thought we had powers, but from what you said to Orca I guess not?)

Lydian seemed to be tacitly not noticing the shade of her face, but his eyes took on a slight amused shine. Okay. So no one attacked you, he realized while his eyes darted towards the right in the direction of the river. He almost attacked someone because of that too. His eyes came back to her face after a few seconds in time from him to catch her eyes while she fumbled with her words. I hope we can become friends, too, he said friendlily.

He noticed a flicker of movement by the river as Diamond let out a warning. His violet eyes glittered dangerously as he saw what was going on, and he was already running when heard Function scream a warning. Youre right, lets go. Coordinate with me if it doesnt mess you up, he said.

He flicked his bell with his finger causing all of the shadows to show themselves. He heard the shadows hiss out a threat to kill them all, not knowing that this was their second time. He noticed Function punching trees and saw Nai collapsed beside him, guessing what had happened.

Ignore everyones features and hit the enemies! he commanded to keep everyone from staring at each other. His eyes stayed fixed on the shadows even as he noticed Functions fox beside him. He smiled dangerously as he saw the shadows, staying unnaturally calm. A gods disciple had to know how to fight.

Nicote just teleported to the palce where he should be. And at somepoitn picked up a cat.

Diamond

Having no clue what Lydian was doing followed her gut and followed Lydian as asked she felt a tingle of weirdness as she drew closer to the river

"stay calm Dia you can do this" she mumbled to herself. She saw some footprints leading away from everything and she followed the footprints going further away from everyone and deeper into the forested area and into a small cave that looked really deep.

She entered the cave curiously when she realised the footprints had stopped "what? We're did they go?" She realised that the rest of the footprints had vanished too.

"Oh no..." She looked around the dark area seeing no light or way out. "Guess curiosity did kill the cat"

She felt her way to corner and sat ther. Tail wrapped around her waist tears threatening to spill over the surface.

Filled with despair she felt as if everything would end and she had been lead into a trap.

"Well I guess I deserve this right? I spy on cute boys and I don't know who my parents are... I was a lab rat and I nearly died spying on a boy" she sniffles a sob and shivered holding herself tightly.

"Sing sing sing a long sing a long song~" she sang over and over till her voice got sore and she stared into the darkness waiting for the inevitable.

"Reminds me of the place the scientists kept me..." She mumbled as she closed her eyes to take a nap.

Function

After he bloodied his fists and nocked a tree down he felt way too heavy

"$&@^%# damn poison" he punched a rock that was the size of a monster truck it split wright down the middle

He spots people coming towards him so he knelt nexto Nai and planted a tracking devise in her kneack

"Well I'm glad I swiped that of Nicote now" he mumbled as he ran off away from the person? That was coming over. He noticed the other wonder off looking at the ground with curiosity all over their face.

"Not my problem!" He said and vanished with his fox out of chiteriss and back to earth

(Don't count on him coming back if Nai leaves chiteriss he will find and kill her Sorry M3 it's just I want my revenge for you killing me off on discord!)

Lydian sighed in relief as the creatures disappeared. They caught everyone off guard this time, but they wouldnt the next. Unless the creature brought allies next time, they would have lost the advantage they had by not killing them now. He needed to make sure that no one he cared about got hurt, especially not the people he worked with which currently only consisted of Vita. But, he hadnt had a weapon so the things retreat was rather good for him

He turned around and noticed that everyone had long vanished, and he sighed in annoyance. Could the others be any less fickle? Fighting the thing the couldnt see and running away when they could. Diamond wanted to come here, and she proceeded the flee as soon as she saw what was happening. Pathetic. He turned away from the mess while shaking his head in disappointment. He hadnt even noticed them go because he was focused on the daggers the thing was holding.

Anyways, where was that gift the goddess had talked about? He might as well go claim them now that everything had been taken care off. It wasnt like they had to hide in the castle.

He caught sight of the animals and his eyebrows jerked up in surprise. That was where that boy got his fox. He wondered what he would get as he watched the peaceful bonding a little away. Something that stick out like a sore thumb would be nice.

He glanced at one of the few that were left, but it seemed to shake its head so he continued on forwards until he came to the end. Had the healing been his gift? It seemed so. He was gloomy as he trudged back to the river where he sat down to calm down.

It was worth it in the end because no one died, so there was no reason to be upset. He trailed his fingers along the water before noticing a disturbance. The disturbance grew larger before a large dragon like figure emerged from the water.

He backed away with his breath coming in short gasps as he watched the dragon that had scared him. It watched him with amused eyes before it shifted to the size of a snake. Lydian finally got what this was pointing at, and smiled.

Youre my familiar, right? he asked. The dragon shook its mane the express its dislike of the term familiar before floating over to his neck and curving around it like a scarf. Lydian shifted in discomfort as the new weight settled across his shoulders, but the dragon stayed there. Nice to meet you then. I suppose I need to call you something, so I dont have to use the term familiar, he said. It seemed like the dragon was sentient since it responded with a curt nod.

It flicked its scales tail to carve a stroke on the earth before finishing a series of rather stiff letters. Nyezin, huh? Is that how its pronounced? The dragon nodded before drifting back up towards him.

He laughed and fingered Nyezins head to which the dragon responded with a snort. It seemed as if it was only coming because it was ordered to for now. It wouldnt let him command it or treat it as a pet until it started to trust or like him.

I sighed and walked to the palace. A bat settled itself on my shoulder.
