Kalib feels a bit put off when Maddy doesn't accept his hug, but he decides to roll with it and not show what he's really feeling. Also, Virgil's hug makes up for it. Kalib sighs in satisfaction and becomes more at ease. "You're the best, Virgil! Gracias, mi amigo. Good detective work, Grey!" Kalib holds his hand up for a high five, readying himself for a denial, though he hoped Grey would do something more than just leave him hanging. A shove for being an idiot would be enough for Kalib, just something to let him know Grey didn't completely ignore him.

Virgil smiled at them. He signed " When do you want me to sing?"

Grey kind of hung his head and stepped back timidly.

She hanged off the side of the bed still listening to the conversation, she was still racking her brain 'me...me of all people he would hug there's something fishy going on here' she said to herself 'they were mean to me and now they want hugs?! No I refuse!' she vented in her head

Kalib wilts some on the inside and chides himself for having expected anything from Grey when Grey takes a step back and completely ignores his waiting hand. Kalib pretends to brush it off and continues to roll, putting his hand back to his side. Taking a breath and thinking of a song Grey might like, Kalib shoulders the responsibility of continuing the conversation. He didn't mind as much as he could have. At least now he's in the position to tease Grey endlessly about feelings for Virgil. "Eh... I don't know, perhaps a love song directed to our pal here," Kalib points to Grey with his chin. He grins at Virgil and Grey, hoping the two don't hate him after this. But if they did, what would it matter?

Virgil nods and starts to think of a song that Kalib has asked. He signed, "You might want to come in if you want,"

Grey blushes even harder which is a feat. He looks at Kalib with pure mortification in his eyes.

Virgil then starts to sing 'not another song about love'. He closes his eyes while singing. (But replace her/she with he/him)

Ella keeps herself on her bed just watching almost sinking back into the corner her hair falling over her face once more starting to fiddle with her thumbs again over and over again till he finished singing

Kalib rocks back on his heels and pushes Grey closer to Virgil so he isn't so far away. He gently knocks his shoulder against Grey, a silent plea of forgiveness at the same time a gesture of encouragement. Kalib stuffs his hands in his pockets and smiles softly, backing away some, tapping his foot to the beat of the song. He silently stores the song away in his brain, not sure he'll ever sing it, but he sure could use the melody and beat to memorize things and a new song is something he's always eager to gain.
