"Then at least let me fall back wih you." Xan said. He didnt want to let her out of his sight, the last time hed done that.....well ir hadn't ended well.

"Alright fine," Diana does not argue with him as she understands his reason.

Xan watches as the group pulls ahead.

Nicote glances back, but says nothing. He guessed Diana was tiring, and figures Xan will make sure they catch up ASAP.

Diana pushes herself to try and catch up.

"Thought you said you just need to slow down for a bit." Xan questioned.

'I can rest later," Diana pants.

"Just slow down you're gonna get heat stroke or something."

Diana nods once slowing slightly. She was exusted and burning up but she figured everyone else was too.

Xan was a little sweaty but nothing more. He'd been rested up (mostly) before this so this was...more like getting exercise. He didn't speak, though, since that'd save breath

Diana keeps going at the slightly slower pace. She wasn't about to give up even though the others were faster.
