Jen had quite enough of this and started back over to Doc, keeping her eyes on her surroundings. It was close. Probably stab-her-in-the-back close. She clicked on a few LEDs on the forearm of her armor, trying to track any sort of shadow or sudden motion under the faint light.
That's just what she was counting on.
"Your guess is as good as mine." Doc had his antennae raised, listening closely. "I only regret not bringing any thermal imaging devices out here. I trust you have this handled for now?"
"Hard to say. Thing's moving so fast I bet if it tripped over a rock it'd launch itself right to the moon. Better watch your back too. Probably'll take you as a hostage or somethin'."

Lun3 had jumped to the side when then shots went off,she was scared and sitting on the ground now.She didn't know what to do

Boreal jolted awake at the sound of gunfire, swiftly standing up and hitting her head on the tree above them with a muffled thonk. She put her talons on her head, "Ow," She turned and looked at Kora, "What's going on?"

The hybrid had managed to fall back asleep, even after what she saw. She hadn't even heard the gunshots, but her sister talking had woke up her. A purr had escaped her as she rolled onto her stomach and opened her eyes. "I don't know. What's wrong?"
Having finally processed that Boreal hit her head on the tree, she had started to speak. "Are you alright?" Her sister had gotten hurt in the facility and now she had hit her head on a tree. Of course she was worried, how could they get away from here together and live if one was injured with no way to heal.

"I heard a gunshot Kora their after us. I'm fine I just hit my head on the tree." She looked a bit embarrassed as she removed her talons from her head. When embarrassment went away fear returned and she crouched low to the ground, her head peeking out of the hole she dug, looking for any threats and prepared to run or fly if she had to. There was no way she was going back into that cell.

"You don't know that for sure. If we got out others got out. I don't even think they know where we are." She had stood up and stayed back, letting her sister have her space. "If they found us they would have got us in our sleep, or tried. I'm sure they wouldn't make this much noise for no reason."

"That's true... maybe I'm overreacting..." Anyone who saw the bird-cat could tell she was agitated right now. This was her one chance to be free! If she was caught she might have to join sector 27 with those poor creatures in high security. She would never get another chance like this.

A laser was trained on Jen's heart. It was green, unlike the red one on the tranq gun. This was on a sniper.
