Zale made a soft noise, slowly pulling away from her. He fealt a need to find Rei, just to make sure he was okay.
He silently made his way through the forest. He was in his humane form, practically blending in.

She didn't notice his leave, she was fast asleep. Her trilling got a little louder and she got brighter, though.

He looks down, watching Zale pass under him. He tenses, a need for Zale overcoming him as he lays on the large branches, high above Zale.

Zale heard a noise, distracting him from an approaching predator. He was low on mana and needed some sleep before her could transform again.

Suddenly he was knocked to the ground. He looked into the eyes of a but cat. He couldn't breathe. Zale swung at the feline, only making it roar, clawing his face. He gasped, reaching for a weapon. He got a stick, and staged its eye, but the feline only flinched. It roared again, a tear tell from his eye. The fear mixed with his blood.

Suddenly he's in front of Zale, roaring loudly at the big cat and tackling it to the ground, he claws at its neck, biting its jaw.

She heard the roar. It wasn't a dragons. She got up and flew over head, searching for the source.

The thin cat fought back fierce, clawing at his neck.

Zale scrambled back. He clutched his left eye. A line scar ran from his right cheek, over the bridge of us nose, and through his left eye. He couldn't breathe or see right. He gulped for air, trying to regain his composure.

He ends the large cat with a final bite to it's neck, holding it until he felt no pulse. He then quickly turns to Zale, rushing over and growling softly. He gently nudges him, needing to see his eye.

Zale looked at him, fear, flashing in his eye. He scooted up against a massive tree. Rei's nudge made him yelp. He tried to push him away, out of fear.

Rei growls softly, nudging Zale's hand out of the way gently. He quickly sniffs the wound, suddenly water forms over the scar, slowly soaking into it to disinfect it.
