He didn't go near it, as he had had a large fear of snakes ever since he had been bitten by one and almost died. Silver purred in his lap, trying in vain to calm her owner down.

Kaa turned back into her physical form, nose to nose with Ricky."Hey, can you do me a favor?" she asked."I'm listening." Ricky said."Can you be my protector? I'm unable to protect myself from harm and I'm the last one of my species.Please?" Kaa pleaded.Ricky knew how bad it has to be being the only one of your species, so she said yes."Thank you, you are my hero." Kaa said, coiling softly around Ricky's neck.
