Pyrus nodded, then said, *ok, Lilli and Coleen, switch.*

Coleen went over to her symbol.

Everyone presses down on their symbol.

More branches appear in front of the group.

They climb some more, and reach the next puzzle. It just has a stone tablet with four hand symbols. There's only a few words under it, which just translate to "good luck!"

When they press down, they are teleported into a strange room, with a closed door on the other side.

(Lilli is love because she takes in any orphans she sees into her nice home, and Colleen is knowledge because she is from the future, so she has knowledge on events, and how to deal with many things due to advanced technology.)

Pyrus blinked. *what do we do?*

Coleen eyed the door. *my guess? Open the door.* she walked over to the door and tried to open it.

As the door is opened, it seems to trigger something. The door vanishes, and blocks appear in the room, each representing an element. There are three of each block. A book drops from the ceiling.
When translated, it reads: "Stack each block with the subject in the middle of the tower, the resistance on the bottom, and the weakness on the top."

The elements are as followed: Nature, Fire, Water, Electricity, Air, Earth, Psychic, Fighting, and Evil/Darkness.

(The logic is pokemon type logic. I'll give you one of the sets for free: Subject: Nature. Bottom/Resistance: Water. Top/Weakness: Fire. Use that format to give your answers.)

Aoi looks to Pyrus. "I think you have this. Try it out!"

Pyrus nodded and walked up to it, and started pacing while thinking. Finnaly, he started moving them around, and finished with this:



(Just Ignore the following: Ice, Steel, Bug, Poison, Flying, Dragon, Fairy, Rock, Ghost, and Normal.)

The blocks glow, then suddenly, the water blocks turn into pure water, the fire blocks into pure fire, the nature blocks into balls of plants, the air blocks into strong forces of air, the earth into chunks of soil, and the electricity into balls of thunder. The room explodes with particles of dust, sparks, and plants.

A door appears on the opposite side of the room. They walk through it. The branches that appeared lead to the top. As they keep climbing, they reach a giant door. There are four hand symbols. The stone plate this time reads:
"Pour out your thoughts and energies into the symbols. Only if you have good balance between light and darkness will you be able to pass. Try to think half positive, and half negative."

Aoi steps up, presses her hand against the symbol, and it instantly fills up half black, half white.

Lilli does the same, and it starts filling black, then she focuses more, and the white comes in. Both have succeeded. Now it's pyrus' and colleen's turn.

Coleen pressed her symbol, and after a minute it evened out.

Pyrus took a deep breath, and pressed his palm on the thing. It filled up completely white, and he frowned. He sighed, and began tapping into his wild, reptilian part of him. It suddenly overflowed, and he gasped, fell on the ground, and started convulsing.

Coleen gasped. *whats happening!?*

Aoi yelled. "Snap out of it Pyrus! You--You promised me...YOU PROMISED ME YOU WOULDN'T PUSH YOURSELF!!"

Coleen began racking her memories, and remembered something. *its not his fault! My great uncle said that theres always a second you inside, but its in the wild side of you! It can come out at any time, without warning! That must be it!*

Pyrus continued convulsing, and his eyes flared open, except slitted. He stopped convulsing, rose, and growled, low, and deadly. Then he spoke, but his voice was rough, scratchy, and reptilian.

*Well, well, well. Nice to meet you all. Coleen over there is right. Im the ^dark side^ of Pyrus. Just call me Dark Pyrus.* he grinned, baring fangs, and laughed. *so, you want this open? Not gonna happen. Im more likely to burn it, and you cant stop me. If you hurt me, your hurt your precious Pyrus.*

Coleen backed up slowly, scared.

Aoi's face was red. "p-llease...get..o..ut...o......f.."

Then, the light from the crystal in the tree faded. it turned pitch black. The door was surrounded with a black aura. Aoi fainted, tears streaking down her face. Then, her eyes opened back up. But something was off. A billion beams of shadows pierced through her body.

"EhehEHhEhEhheEhHe"

Aoi seemed completely out of control. A demented smile crept across her face. Her attire was ripped up, and shadows coated it. There were arms and legs formed by darkness on her body. "Aoi" spoke.

"Ehehehe!! So, she's destined to marry you? A foolish boy who can't control himself for his life? An IDIOT who forgot that she was half demon? The one who didn't read when he had the chance...the creature bounded to one's shadows. The one who waits for the perfect moment to strike? EHEheHEHH!! I have to say...she is good at one thing...she picked an easy prey."

The horrid, eerie version of Aoi replaced her normal sweet self. That wasn't her.

"ONe On OnE!!!!" The horrid creature shouted. Black beams emerged from Lilli and colleens chests, and they lay weak and fainted nearby. It used the darkness to further strengthen itself.

This was going to be a catastrophic fight...
